How many stems to let grow

I know the leaves are weird on this white widow clone. My question is about pruning. At each leaf node a new branch starts growing. One branch from base might have 15 small branches growing. How many branches soul come off a one of the main branches?

It looks like the sun is reaching everywhere, unless you are trying to get her to bush out I would let it ride till flower. Then trim under preforming shoots that are covered by the canopy.

Well, it’s been 6 weeks since my last post. The white widow clone went from 1 leaflet to 5 and now back to 3,
I have been thinning and removing everything under canopy that’s in shade, I hope I didn’t over do it. Ed will see how it reacts to my pruning. I’ve pruned some every week, not all at once.
