One of my places I enjoy a smoke

Just beautiful!
I laughed at the "And soon whatever weeds grew, I manicured into a fine carpet of lawn…"
We had our 2 acres turned over and raked when we first bought it and threw grass seed at it. Now, after 40 years, if it's green and survives mowing, it stays. Right now we are being overtaken with 'creeping charlie'. It's even giving the clover a run for it's money. LOL

Perfect! The water is a huge bonus! Any fish in there worth playing around with? Looks like it would be nice to cool off in on a hot summer day!😁🐒
Many species of fish, turtles, frogs, snakes, etc. I have caught a glimpse of some large fish, but couldn’t identify them. Definitely been swimming many times in the creek. Especially with all the rain we’ve had, water levels are high.

Thank you. Yes the invasive vines are killing the trees, the wild grapes especially.

I want a stream too. ☺️
Before we bought our property we told a realtor, 'we want acreage, hill for a walkout and a stream in the back.'
She said, oh boy, so does EVERYBODY.
We got the 2 acreas, walkout basement and a stream in the spring and lately downpours for about half a day. LOL

I’ve been here 26 years (wow). I consider this my forever home. I also own a few acres across the creek too, so privacy is very nice.

Starting my seed soak 2025 for my outdoor grow today. I have 12 different strains. Although some seeds are really old, I still am hopeful that they might pop (even though they did nothing the last two times I’ve tried).
-Ethos 10th Planet R1
-Jelly Breath S1
-Sunset Sherbet
-Skittlez/The Original Z
-Blueberry Pancakes
-Super Lemon Haze
-Northern Lights
-Wedding Cake
-Cherry Wanna
-C99 x N. L.
-1983
-Uncle Hank (unknown strain obtained from uncle Hank).

How old is too old for weed seeds?
