Hello everyone, I would like to know if my OG Kush Auto is ready to harvest. The seed germinated on April 10th and the first pistils appeared around May 23rd. Today, June 27th, I did a full flush. The plant is grown outdoors in a warm climate. Under the microscope, some trichomes show amber tips, while the pistils on the upper buds are brown, but the lower ones are still white. The buds look dense, but maybe also swollen. Also, the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow, in fact, almost all the lower leaves are yellow. I am looking for a more energetic and cerebral effect, so I do not want to wait for too many amber trichomes. I have gradually reduced the fertilization in the last few days. I am attaching photos of both the trichomes and the plant. Any advice or opinion is welcome, thanks in advance!

Looks good to me. You might want to take the buds with amber trichs and leave the lower ones to ripen up a bit more. Good job!
I've got a few autos as well, but mine won't be done 'til at least the end of next month.

But, kush is an indica, sleepy time medicine. That's what I prefer. You need to look for a Sativa leaning strain if you want a more energetic and cerebral effect.

but you say I can do it? I mean I can cut the ready tops and I can leave the young ones without the plant dying? how could I? anyway you are absolutely right but months ago when I bought the seeds I had not taken this thing into consideration which instead is very important, now I have sown Bruce banner which is sativa dominant and I also wanted to make a super lemon haze but unfortunately I have not managed to make it germinate. thanks for the advice

Your OG Kush Auto looks close to harvest! Since some trichomes have amber tips but many pistils are still white, and you want a more energetic, cerebral effect, it’s a good idea to harvest soon, when you see mostly cloudy trichomes with just a few amber ones. The yellowing lower leaves and swollen buds also indicate maturity. Keep flushing and plan to harvest in the next few days for the effect you want. Great job!

Thanks a lot. How many flushes before harvest would be needed?

Are you in soil? If so you do not need to flush, just stop giving nutes.
And yes, you can 'chop off her head' and the rest will ripen later.
Exactly I am in soil. I will water without fertilizer and then I will cut the mature flowers. Thank you very much

If it were mine, I would go smoke a blunt and come back in a week or two.

thank you. unfortunately yesterday there was a very strong hailstorm that ruined only some leaves and not the tops, to be safe on Saturday I will harvest the tops (leaving the lower ones still far behind). I hope no mold or anything else grows, otherwise all the work will be lost. it's absurd how someone commits themselves, puts their heart and passion into it, then one day it hails and ruins everything, until yesterday it was over 34 degrees, then from one moment to the next it hails for 10 minutes, and the next day it becomes sultry again, this weather is crazy
