Hi everyone.
I'm new at indoor growing, started last December. Grown 2 lots of autos, learnt from it and no problems until now. I have an extractor fan with a charcoal filter that works well, but no other fan in the room which was ok till now. I collected the buds off a plant and noticed white foam type stuff in-between a few buds in the centre of the plant. Caused by lack of ventilation I think. I saw it on this site before, and someone thought it wasn't budrot, called it spider something.
I washed the buds in weak soapy water and dried them in the sun.
Are they any good or should I dump them?
Spider mites?? If you washed and dried properly smoke it.

Call me pedantic and cautious but I'm doing same strain topped and one not. Just to see side by side with the same nutes.
well than your capt mix plants are probably not the same crosses,..
this is the list of what my plant can be,..

Honestly I think you can create peat with a huge one time investment. No idea if it's worth it. It looks like the right machines exist.

The 3x3 just doesn’t want to finish up 🤣

The two Mexican x Columbian in the back are in it for the long haul, starting to get some limonene terps from them.
The front left is the Tropicana Cookies x Okie

Then there’s the 1x3 veg tent with a couple Lazy Lightning’s ready for the flower tent as soon as some room opens up.

Yes! Love the tent security. Who needs pit bulls and Rottweilers!? 🤣

I'm into my third one. Should get another coffee also... Bro do you water these plants by hand? That's some 36 chambers of shaolin type of chore - you must be able to fingerjab through walls by now 💚 🤡 👊
I hand feed every fucking one of them all the time forever🥲
I did a 250 cup solo run once there’s a picture of it I think in that stack from earlier and dude i was basically a wet nurse. I was growing in cups that were actually smaller than solos at the time too. They were 8 ounce nursery cups so you know that was all the way through harvest too. It’s just about making sure that you can feed what roots are there in a timely manner and the plants will be fine. You just have to go to the extra mile that being said I’ll never do that shit again in that capacity anyway but I kinda enjoy pushing the boundaries a bit breaking the rules doing things that no one else would do and it’s really just to break up the monotony of shit after doing this stuff for so fucking long man. I’m always switching stuff up just to be able to one, know that I can do it two, Change it up for a little while and three, to piss off a few people off maybe, and at this point, there’s really not many ways that I haven’t grown but only main way that I’ve never grown herb is with Coco. Everything else I’ve done checked the box 1,000,000 times although I’m running DWC with a couple of plants at the moment, and I used to run off of wicking and flood tables. This is kind of new territory, but all is going well so I mean, this Rigan particular seems to put a lot of emphasis on Mucho air. Once I started crank that up, roots dumped out of these things in a couple of days. I just like to be able to have my toolbox full with as many different things in order to be able to help out as many people as possible at the end of the day granted that wasn’t my intention at first, but once I became a mod it’s nice to be able to reach in that toolbox and be of use in someway.

Well, that’s what I like to tell my dumbass anyway🤪

Yo Mr Capt, what kind of numbers are you running for the bucket monkeys?

Did you dust off the old table leg shims, or are you just winging it with some
Mega Crop 1 part?

Geeze that looks efficient. NICE roots. Is there a downside to Coco you hate?

Not necessarily, it’s just something that never really interests me and it seemed like there was extra steps for no good reason in my opinion and you know growing in that medium you’re more susceptible to deficiencies and toxicities because of buildup of salts and other types of bullshit in the medium throughout your grow it’s just not my bag man. I’d much rather deal with soil that has buffers built-in that will grow bad ass plants with barely even trying That’s my chosen method as I’m just a soil head man at the end of the day I will fuck with Hydro from time to time, but that’s basically the short and long of it.

NEVER stop doing side bys, you learn so much first hand knowledge😉
Yep, that’s why I’m doing a soil side-by-side right now, man I’m doing Fox farm vs fertilome soils g
And my take away so far
Foxfarm stays way too wet for way too long.
The wet dry cycles are just stretched way the fuck out on that side of things and in my opinion it’s leaving a window of opportunity for the fertilome to just blow past the fox farm. Reason being is is that I get to feed my plants more with fertilome they’re cycling through the nutrients a lot quicker and more of it in a shorter period of time the fox Farm is just sitting there and staying saturated, which you know, depending on the size of your root ball and the amount you got down in your medium is going to dictate how much uptake you’re gonna get And if it’s overly saturated well that’s gonna stunt and it’ll eventually snowball into a big big issue for novices that dont know any better.
So a couple of my suspicions are being confirmed by doing this right now about an issue that seems to be pervasive with their soils that then turns into issues for novice growers, now if I was to go and take one pot of each of those different soils right now and put them on a scale I fed them both at the same time last time, and I still haven’t fed them yet, but that being said, the fox form is twice as heavy as the fertilome and the plants are starting to really hit their stride plant size is still close at this point, but it’s readily apparent that they’re gonna start to dust to the fox farm plants

Ha!
Having so many 1 gallon pots that I’m not completely saturating right now has a tendency to spill a little bit of some dusty dirt out of the bottom of these pot you know and it’s constantly me in there with a fucking shop vac cleaning up underneath all of them until they get large enough to the point where I can start saturating them thoroughly I was slow rolling some of them for a while by kind of curtailing the amount of liquid I was given them in order to let some of the other plants to catch up a bit because I have plans for sea of green and shit right, at the same time it’s a mixed run of feminized and regular photos and I’m gonna have to sex these photos at some point in time so I was kind of wanting to slow roll them a bit as well in order to have my other fems start to catch up to offset what I’m gonna have to take out in males if that makes sense but yeah man, it can end up being a bit dusty around there. It’s not that big of a deal dude I’m constantly chasing the shit out of there and using Dr. zymes to clean up the tops of those Hydro kit anyway it’s all good man busting my balls, bro.🤣🤣🤣🤣
But when I run 1 gallon plants all I’m hoping to get out of each one is one dry ounce and my methodology gets me that on average on the reg.
And you know I run somewhere around 60 to 70 1 gallon pots, and depending on the strains used it adds up quick you know it’s kind of why I run a lot of 1 gallon grows like I’ll give it another two weeks and most likely I’ll be flipping in there just as long as I can make sure to put my eyes on what sex is what sooner than later

Needs a handful of sand issue or it's a clumpy junk product issue?

GET YOU A SPRAYER SONNY! Swiss Link Surplus has some good stuff... Their manual centrifuge is good for separating liquid layers.
