Nah you're good. Looks like the ones in the containers could use some extra fertilizer. But I'm not sure what you've been giving them so I can't say for sure. The ones in the ground look really good overall. The lower leaves yellowing on the one is definitely is a sign of nutrient deficiencies. But overall Good job. We don't judge here. . . . Too much. 😂😂
😀Thanks. Appreciate the info.

About twice a week I've been giving them the recommended dose of fox farm trio nutrients, but not the tiger bloom. I've seen people mention bloodmeal and have that, but haven't used. I have been mixing in epsom salt with my water for the mag deficiency, which seems to have helped.

I wasn't quite sure what nutrients to go with, so I just went with these.

The standard FF Grow Big is 6-4-4. Your picture shows Grow Big for hydroponic and is only 3-2-6. So if this is actually what you’re using in soil, your woefully low on N.

I use all 3 ! Actually just gave my ladies first dose of tiger bloom today !🩷!They are my staples!

Shoot looks better than mine. I’m jealous as hell of some of the plants I see in this thread. So don’t sweat it and just roll with it baby.
Hey man don't sweat it we all tend to compare but in the end we all succeed with grown our own. Outdoors isn't easy as some young'ns think. Lots to deal with. And i'm in durbin's camp with learning to keep alittle N in with bloom PK.

Yeah didn't think about that but @mancorn nailed it. Gotta be careful with the liquid nutes. Make sure you are using stuff for soil and make sure it is for outdoor use. Im pretty sure you can continue using what you have but increase on the dosage. Your guess is as good as mine on how much though.

My mistake. This is the one I purchased. I see what you're pointing out with the ratio.

Do y'all frown on simple Miracle grow. My soils is already good to go, for nutes ( In ground ) I regularly sprinkle used coffee grinds and egg shells on the soil around the plants, but like to hit them occasionally with miracle grow, thru out the veg period.

Nothing wrong with miracle grow for most things. Only problem is it's a very slow release fertilizer designed to last the whole grow season, so it's harder to control when you need to switch to bloom nutes. Just be careful when they say it's "all purpose" fertilizer. It's really super high in nitrogen and low in phosphorous. I found that out looking at the stuff my brother was using and he couldn't figure out why his flowers and fruits were so little. Had him get the bloom stuff and apply it equally with the "all purpose" stuff and he's been doing better. Here's a snapshot of what I'm talking about. It's "All Purpose" but 24 on the nitrogen and 8 on the phosphorous? Shame on them for the false advertisement.

Oh yeah I come on here once a week and cry cuz I feel like my plants are too small 🤣

Pictures can be deceiving though, a plant in a 10 gallon pot would look massive to me because mine are trained down in a 30 gallon.

If you got plants that are alive you’re winning!

I think miracle grow would be a good choice for the beginner who doesn’t know Jack about growing pot! I’ve seen some nice plants from miracle grow! But usually a little Larfy. But you lose your claim to organic! Which is dubious anyway! And I think all purpose means you get acceptable results using it on your flowerbeds, your vegetable garden, watering your trees with it, and even spraying it on your lawn. They don’t claim to be pot specific! That’s why you don’t get jacked on the price like you do on the rest of this stuff! Miracle grow was what we used in Humboldt back in 1980! Growing in the bushes! Because you could put it into your waterline and distributed to your plants through the drip! Half the town was running around with their hands stained green or blue!😁✌️ I think it is a good all-around fertilizer before you get into the nitpicky world of pot growing! Lol! They used to have miracle grow organics! That had a grow, and a bloom variety! I don’t know if they still make it or not! I don’t think you’re gonna find too many people using the fox farms trio on their 1 acre vegetable gardens or big flower beds or their yards!

Mainly because it would be ridiculous expensive. The Big Grow recommends up to 4 teaspoons per gallon. If you use the lower 3 tsp per gallon “general grow” level you’d get 64 gallons out of a $30 quart jar. Versus a 4.4 lb bag of MEGA Crop for $20 (which IMO at 11-5-14 is much closer to where you want to be than 6-4-4) and it will make 330 gallons. It’s 6 cents vs 47 cents/gallon. Which might be OK if you’re growing in a closet, but not when your watering an acre!

I hear you! If you want to see a company that addresses the nit picky, check out grow more! They offer 100 different combinations! I ran into some people up in Hayfork, that swore by it! I know it is more for what the big boys use!

i’m just saying people shouldn’t be disrespecting miracle grow! Because if you really wanna fine-tune it, there is some stuff out there!😁🍻

Exactly why I like it for the veg time of growth. And it's only a small amount that I use. Composted manure and fresh fish is my main battery, along with ground hogs, racoons, and opossums that come along. miracle grow is just a bit of gravy, to the meal I provided.
