We moved recently and my wife has a bunch of office shit from before she started working at home. Found a whole jar of these bad boys and knew exactly what I was going to do with them.

They work pretty well if you don’t pull too tight. Would be better to have a grommet in the bag. Or some clamp with teeth ya know?

You think these are gonna blow up into 3lb monsters? or are you going for baby monsters this time 🤣
LOL. I don't know man. It depends on when they start preflower. If they can go into the 2nd half of July before they start, then I just might get 3+ off of each. These pics were taken mid-August last year. They started preflower 2nd week of July and they were about 2 weeks into flower here. So we'll see if they can catch it. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I was going to install a bunch of grommets, but im 💯 trying this first!

The bamboo is working like a charm.
Yeah they’re taking the yoga pretty well. Not sure if I want to do another layer of bamboo or some sort of net. They’ve grown enough where I undid a few of the ties and was able to tuck them under the bamboo. We’ll see.

When do you guys stop LST?

Everything I've seen, you can do this up to a week or two into flower. Then it's recommended to stop and let em go after that. So that's what I'm doing with mine.

They used to have miracle grow organics! That had a grow, and a bloom variety! I don’t know if they still make it or not! I don’t think you’re gonna find too many people using the fox farms trio on their 1 acre vegetable gardens or big flower beds or their yards!
I've never used it but since you mentioned I looked to find it and they still have it.

As I've been going through this thread, I've noticed many plants look pruned towards the bottom where you can see the stem. Is that something I need to do with this one?

I typically prune off the bottom 1/3, in addition to keeping the center thin. Airflow is key. Don’t want any part to stagnate. Later in bloom, the plant will breathe better, stay drier, and hopefully eliminate mold, bud rot, and cozy places for pests.

Yes.

This is typical revegging (evident by the 3 bladed leaves) where the plant gets super bushy. And seeing that the grass is nice and green would think that either you get summer rain or water a fair amount. Either way it’s going to increase the humidity around the plant and be more susceptible to bud rot down the road. So opening up this plant with better air flow is real important.

I think miracle grow would be a good choice for the beginner who doesn’t know Jack about growing pot! I’ve seen some nice plants from miracle grow! But usually a little Larfy. But you lose your claim to organic! Which is dubious anyway! And I think all purpose means you get acceptable results using it on your flowerbeds, your vegetable garden, watering your trees with it, and even spraying it on your lawn. They don’t claim to be pot specific! That’s why you don’t get jacked on the price like you do on the rest of this stuff! Miracle grow was what we used in Humboldt back in 1980! Growing in the bushes! Because you could put it into your waterline and distributed to your plants through the drip! Half the town was running around with their hands stained green or blue!😁✌️ I think it is a good all-around fertilizer before you get into the nitpicky world of pot growing! Lol! What makes u say my way is dubious, as for organic. Just curious. Might be new to cannabis cultivation, but most of my life has been farm related. I appreciate any good advise. U seem to have been around it way more than I. Always better to learn, than say I know.

I didn’t say your way was dubious! I said most claims of organic are dubious! Obviously miracle grow is synthetic! But if you dig deep enough, you will usually find something non-organic that has been used on a plant by a grower who claims to be organic! And even a tiny bit ruins, the organic claim in my opinion! Could be from additives to the city water, stuff absorbed foliarly like pesticides and fungicides, a true completely organic grow is a tough bar to meet! But we try to do it as best we can!😀

Thanks. Well that'd be the only synthetic added to mine. I use rain water almost exclusively, but if I'm low, my well water does not go thru a softener, or anything. pH is spot on, either way. Though I'm a bit high in iron from the well.
I've only used a gallon of miracle grow , since I planted them on mother's day.

I don’t think the plant distinguishes NPK from synthetic or organic! It’s more of a grower thing! You do what you have to do to get good results in the climate you’re in!
