Hey everyone! Greetings to all you green thumbs and ganja gurus!

So I’ve finally dialed in my autoflower seedling and veg growth till I feel much better about the effort. Before my babies were not growing to the sizes I see from y’all.
I’m trying to get past all my photoperiod experience and get good on the flower end of things now.

So when should I stop training? She stretched on me a lot in a short period of time with preflower just beginning so I tied her down again and took a few leaves to let in some light.

Also I’ve had one baby in the past I got fat dense nugs off a bonsai plant. Before this last vegetative success still kind of narrow. No good fill.
What should I do to maximize this? All my nutes are 💯 water soluble. I’ve got several biostimulants-naturally sourced to choose from as well. Carbs, amino acids, silicas, and some killer PK nutes that really shined on the photos.

All this gets a ton of natural light.

I am just learning autos. I tried to train my first 2 like a photo and after a 7 inch stretch they stopped and started stacking fur. Got a stem out here and got a stem out there. Another 6 inches of stretch and it would have made sense.
My 2nd two I decided to see about a natural look. I had intended to just tie them down and I did bend the stems 45 degrees for tops clearance but just let it grow.
Then an inadvertent topping way late gives me an opportunity to see what a natural cannabis plant looks like and one topped, side by side.

As far as nutes go I run Organics and do not starve my plants at the end.
Flushing is a topic with many points of view.
Here is an auto trained like a photo

I'd like to see a picture of what you've done. I've always stopped doing more training before the end of vegetation.

No good fill.

Let's see... Many would like to know the answer to this question. I would also like to know. I do have a few ideas, not necessarily in any order... Make sure the plant is healthy during vegetation. Get the timing right for the change to flowering nutrients. Focus on P, K and Mg. Get the lighting right for flowering. Raise the VPD. Make sure the plants transpire well.

As far as the nutrition is concerned, you never stop them. flushing is bullshit, especially if you’re in soil

Save the flushing for the toilets

haha nice!

Flushing’s effectiveness really does depend a lot on your growing method.

  • In organic grows: The soil microbiome helps break down and buffer nutrients naturally, so flushing is often unnecessary.
  • In chemical or synthetic nutrient grows: Flushing can help remove excess salts and residues that might build up, improving the final taste and quality.

So, saying “flushing is bullshit” is probably too extreme

It is if you’re in soil like I said, I run DWC buckets here too. I flush those,
If you’re in Coco, you need to flush
Better?

I’m not talking about living soil either just soil

Well we know a couple of facts that make it not bullshit
Explain the mechanism where salt and nutes build up and effect taste.
This mechanism of buildup leads to nutritional deficit after the plant locks out uptake.
Been smoking pot a long time, never had a salty bag of weed.
Ya see the cue in your statement is words like can and might. Lawyers call it a weinie clause.

Hey brother, I trust you know what you’re talking about, no insult intended.

I just wanted to make sure that if the OP is new, they don’t get the wrong idea.
Flushing does have its practical uses and isn’t entirely without merit.

I think it’s important to be careful not to say things that could be misleading when someone is asking for advice or trying to learn.

I’ve found cure to be more important than flush myself. I would agree that flushing is somewhat bullshit as well.

The salts are the key to flavor problems. I’ve gone a different nute route when we deal with nitrogen and am really liking what I’m getting out of trying to burn them a little with mega crop. You can but if you mix it right I’ve not burned even with spills.
I do feed more often and my girls like Mother Nature and not into being closet couch taters. So rain may be flushing them to an extent in the fabric pots

even with hydro, you can not "flush" anything out of the plants, only the medium, most studies show that plants taste better with out flushing

Don’t keep photos much. I wish I had more to show but this is the final tie down of an auto. End up with a lot of light over the whole canopy which is basically all colas when I do the candle opera style.

Other is just one of my angry little autos. I love purple flowers. I use a few things but I do like what sweet candy has done past couple years it’s the one from greenleaf nutrients.

I am a beginner. How long do you think before harvest time

I have several plants growing outside right now that are all flowers that are only 5 inches tall that have a bud on the top. They flower way too fast I believe sometimes you do not end up with more than 10 grams at the most what can I do to get more buds?

I live in Long Island, New York. It can rain for three days straight and then be sunny for two days straight very difficult to grow the way I would like to. I do have a couple indoors, but they seem to definitely grow faster outdoors, but this summer so far has sucked.

These must have been autos, photos would not be flowering outdoor yet. Best thing to get more buds is not grow autos. Nothing you can really do with these now but let them finish.

Yes, they are autos sour diesel. The northern lights, Acapulco gold every plant has its own personality. I guess I think I might switch to Photos.

Autos can be okay for outdoor but if anything goes wrong you end up with very small plants

All over this board outdoor folks are struggling. From overcast skies to Canadian forest fires and soon to be volcanoes it has been a dim and weak spring. We have no corn within 50 miles that is knee high and it's almost a week past the 4th.
How bad is it? I still got strawberry sets out and they are making flowers and shitty little berries. They should be dormant and moved all over the patch. I had 3 4 inch pots and now I got 3 12 inch clumps.
