First run with Humboldt Seed company - Squirt Auto. This was so sparse I almost pulled the plug. Had only 1 of 6 seeds sprout. Buds are looking good but the plant is small and the yield will be minimal. Anyone else have the same issue with Humboldt. I had a the same issue with their Blueberry Muffin seeds

I think this is one issue with blueberry muffin. But she has very strong terps. So much, this is a favorite at the humbolt seed company. nat's daughter halle says this strain is her fav.

Gotta love this site, the combination of gardener - growers is a positive thing and I really enjoy the veggies and ornamentals shared.
Ok back to the grow, they’re all headed towards flowering, beginning to see some growth changes at the terminal points and the trunks are girthing up.
The living soil beds only require 2 to 3 watering per week, checked moisture today and may water tomorrow, temps are high 80 into 90 range so got to pay attention.

In the race for the top we have Lemon Pie, Snow Girl and Strawberry Blonde and Lemon Pie.

Super Chocolate and Strawberry Blonde are the on steroids champs with their prehistoric bulking growth. These get an A+ for the moment

The Honey Face, Truffle Monkey, The Brunch & Sugar Rim are all pictured and at this grading they are all getting an A

Ok next two newb questions. Video 1, back door girl, stigmas turning brown. She’s maybe 75 feet from the male. I am hoping she is pollinated. Thoughts?

Secondly, video 2, the non skunk girl’s bud sites drooping but sun leaves ok. ???? Thoughts. Ph tested and it’s 6.7’ish. She is wet from the last few days of rain but the other skunk girl is fine, video 3, two feet from non skunk girl. Both are fed the same and watered the same.

The GOOD is after battling a mole for the last month I finally killed it yesterday (with a new Gopher Hawk trap)!

The BAD is that Pep didn’t get to eat ‘em. Ahhhhh… poor girl went to bed hungry. 🙄

And the UGLY is that I burned the shit out of my GG with a fungicide spray and all the bud sites have turned yellow. Might just tear her down.

Mango Haze (L) & OG Kush (R). Had to build a little ramp to wheel the patio plants into the morning sun. Every trip is an adventure (i.e. a disaster waiting to happen).

Based on this ground level picture, would anyone advise me to prune anything visible? Would I be cutting the lower branches off at the stem? Or just cut leaves?

If I'm asking too many questions, I'm quite willing to read previous information? I was told to thin all of my plants, but I get the feeling the trimming I've done so far hasn't been adequate so far as quantity.
As a general rule of thumb, the inner 2/3 of the canopy is just going to waste energy growing long stretchy stems struggling to reach the sunlight. That energy could be better used to develop bud sites on the outer canopy.
Culling the inner canopy also reduces the risk of molds later in the season. As temps drop and humidity rises, the inner canopy is an ideal habitat for mold growth. Powdery moldrew thrives in high humidity but not wet conditions, so the inner canopy provides protection from rain and wind, while trapping all that stagnant moisture from the humidity.
I do a progressive harvest, so once the stretch is over, I don't pinch off the inner regrowth anymore. I just let those little B buds grow out and finish up. Once I've harvested all the ripe bud, the little shits are usually mostly ready. I love my little B buds! They keep me outta the really good stuff until it's properly dried and cured. 👍

I had a plant damaged more than that GG, also from using a fungicide. It had just started pushing out pistils but recovered fine. I pulled a couple pounds of quality smoke from her. I say let her ride!

Not sure the picture really captures my stupidity. 😀

If it was just the burned leaves I wouldn’t care that much. But all the growing tips turned yellow within 2 days. Not sure what that’s about.

It’s funny I started 10 GG. 4 males, gave away 4, planted 1 and then ended up chopping it down when it starting revegging. But still had this one (in a pot) as a backup. Maybe I’ll have to smoke the ‘24 harvest for another year.

Nothing wrong with miracle grow for most things. Only problem is it's a very slow release fertilizer designed to last the whole grow season, so it's harder to control when you need to switch to bloom nutes. Just be careful when they say it's "all purpose" fertilizer. It's really super high in nitrogen and low in phosphorous. I found that out looking at the stuff my brother was using and he couldn't figure out why his flowers and fruits were so little. Had him get the bloom stuff and apply it equally with the "all purpose" stuff and he's been doing better. Here's a snapshot of what I'm talking about. It's "All Purpose" but 24 on the nitrogen and 8 on the phosphorous? Shame on them for the false advertisement.
Is this what he's actually using? They make several products. Some are liquid, some are dry. Maybe I missed something.
I hear you! If you want to see a company that addresses the nit picky, check out grow more! They offer 100 different combinations! I ran into some people up in Hayfork, that swore by it! I know it is more for what the big boys use!View attachment 2467924 i’m just saying people shouldn’t be disrespecting miracle grow! Because if you really wanna fine-tune it, there is some stuff out there!😁🍻
Nit picky or marketing ploy?

Mine not only had potassium burn but all the leaves turned a yellow-y shade of green. Like giant friggin bananas or some shit. 🤣
