Hey fellow sticky fingers! 😂🌿

I’ve got some uninvited guests munching on my plants (ugh, pests 😤), and I’m ready to fight back with 100% cold-pressed neem oil? But I could use a little advice from the pros here! I did a search and could not find anything about neem usage for my issue.

Here’s what I’m wondering:
  • I’ve heard 1 tablespoon of neem per gallon of water is the magic mix—does that sound right?
  • How long do I shake it up for?
  • What kind of spray nozzle works best—fine mist or something else?
  • Do I spray every single leaf, top and bottom?
  • Is there anything I should not spray neem on?
  • Is there something else that is Organic? I hear about Captain Jacks but it doesn't tell you want the other 99% ingredients are?
  • Would DM be a good treatment as well for whatever is causing this?

    Three photos.

The first one (3289) was not the only bug. And I am not sure if that one did the dirty deed, could be resting?

On the second one (3291), not the holes on the left, and the strange tearing on the right?

On the third one (3292), that is my most holy of the all lady!
If you’ve got neem experience or any tips to share, I’d love to hear them! Let’s save these lovely ladies together. 🙌

Thanks in advance! 🌱✨

Why not grow a healthy plant with its own naturally evolved flavor molecules. It only spent millions of year's figuring that shit out.

I'm beginning to think you weirdos actually like smoking neem.
That's not nice and didn't answer the question.
You gotta do what you gotta do when you've got pests eating your plants. Rather spray some neem and mint than have no plant left to spray. No one has the time to handpick all the lice or bugs, especially outside.

Now i do agree that you don't spray when it's one or two bugs. Only start looking at sprays when you have no choice left.

You're going to think this is nuts but it seemed to work , i had a problem with aphids this year on my outdoor plants so i made a dragonfly out of clay and clear plastic, hung it above my best plants ...and they all dissapeared.! ( i saw a video of a girl who walks dogs and to keep the flies away she pins a dragonfly onto the peak of her cap ). i also noticed i have attracted a lot of tiny blue dragonflys and hoverflies to the garden which i noticed darting into plants and picking off insects.

I don't think it's nuts at all. I have a friend who wears them when the go out in the bush and it seems to reduce the bugs. They sell them somewhere. I appreciate your fine suggestion. Looking forward to hearing from more! Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDW3JKX...DChykxm7tmtcPS0PTOnlqz9P42OjEPH&offsiteFlag=1

And I admin I am learning. Maybe I should have asked more general. I am also trying to grow organic. Yea that comment is certainly not the vibe of this community. Everyone here has been really helpful and save me from making mistakes.

No if you can make it buzz when any intruders come by this would be a hit!

Howdy!
We here at the farm,
Often wonder when folks chime in to
To say ignorant things like people may be smoking neem.
Now im not sure if you know, but you need to be at least 18 years of age to operate on this forum, and if you are, and have a bit more knowledge than the labels of pest preventatives you found in your moms garden shed, then please, by all means. Share away, we love a healthy knowledge base around here, it perpetuates an enviroment that new and old growers alike want to come back to so we can all learn and get better.
so if you just gotta piss in the pool, do it in the damned kiddie pool
Not here.
