2 tents 3 lights all bought on prime sales. I do use ACI environmental controls and apps with the thermo and cloud forge which could not be duplicated by Vivosun although they are sure trying. A few ac and humidity developments in the works. I think they are going to have a fail in the cure box as I just do not see that issue as a problem to solve for $800.
Good insights. I was going to cobble something with a usb stick and dreams. but maybe I need an all in one for just the light if I get that. Unless a PC can do it?
Still thinking about the complete system, it's really tempting. And the CNC option means I can make more. So we shall see.

The lights have 25% floor as on in default. O do know because I pinned out my controller cause its mine and found a 1.5 to 4.5 volt signal path at low current. Its a 5 volt com system used on basically everything from cars to pc stuff. A variable resistor pile with clamping diodes like is on any older light would work but jeeze the controller is 42 bucks LOL

$70

Variable resistor with diode bank is like the shit I used to do in college crawling around the ceiling rigging skeleton hooking up tv studio equipment, because they figured I'd just bounce if I fell. You had to make an in line circuit breaker and power conditioner for a lot of shit like the lighting leads for the banks.

Ok, assuming the foliar treatment works, I think that's the way because I have at least some basic ability to compile info for someone smarter. Thanks everyone for the help. I'll either go light or full shot and CNC in order to earn for a light in a few weeks. Probably going light.

I just bought the 24x48x60 for$106and change. I'm going to turn that into a dry shed. I have a portable dehumidifier I could toss in it and can vent some of my portable a/c unit air into it as well. Have a box at bottom to put my mason jars of the good sh*t and wallah dry and cure house. What do you think??

Id want to run plants in it when I wasn’t drying. Or maybe it’s perfect with the environmental controls to grow shrooms in?? If that’s your sorta thing.

I don't want to pick a scab going back into it but I always use a water bank as my temp control. You can port away humidity or use it, it's stable, all the parts can be 100% free (dude people throw out fish tanks here like it's a fucking hobby lol), you can pipe the water bank to a radiator and fan and solar the whole thing (cheap DIY or scrap). If you need cool, bury a radiator loop to that instead.

OH... there is always heat flaps... a glass tunnel with flaps for heat and there is a cold one somehow...

I have the vivosun lights, humidifier, fans, cameras, vent system with charcoal filter i have 2 sets oth the smart plugs that I can plug stuff into all controlled by the E42-a controller. I was gone for 10 days so I plugged in a pump and turned the pump on for 10 minutes then turned off to water plants. It all hooks to an app, I was watering my plants and viewing them from across the country.

Had a friend 35+ years ago who raised fish and ran black 3/4" tubbing onto the roof of an old stable where he kept his fish. Water would be scalding hot if allowed to sit in the sun. He had a pump that would circulate the water from a 55 gallon drum and it wad usually too hot to use in the middle of the day.

I built a hot box, for lack of a better term out of a 17 gallon rectangular tub that came out of a water softener I had removed for a client

I built a PVC frame and covered it in plastic. Added an aquarium pump and heater. Still using it after 6-7 years BUT the point is I made it to help heat my small greenhouse

in the winter. It helped but wasn't a real heater, but I was able to start seeds and clones in the middle of winter😉

AND just yeaterday I'm thinking about putting four 30+ gallon totes into my large greenhouse (8' x 16') on the floor under the shelves and fill them with water, pumps and heaters🤔 and the reason I board everyone with this story🤣

What are the clear totes on the left? Are those worm bins?

Naw, just a ton of seeds. Every winter and spring I start all garden plants from seed. I like it to be difficult🤣

I've lost 1000's of seeds through the years. Couple times I lost all seedlings to snails/slugs and mice/rats and I grow a summer and winter garden. It's been a real battle but I'm finally making progress starting them in the hot box and moving to copper framed shelves😉

I’ve never dabbled with mycology before. I live in a cat hair covered house with poor environmental control and don’t see any point in setting up just to fail.
I haven't done any acid or shurms in 40 years and never had a bad trip. I'm just not interested these days. Happens when you get old🤣

Tripping is always more enjoyable when lifes responsibilities aren’t nagging at you in the back of your mind. That’s why I want to try DMT, so I can go on a quick intense trip to the cosmos and back and still go about my day without any lingering side effects. Besides loss of ego and enlightenment.

Lock out your environment, you need to anyhow. I never did open spawn or fruit beyond an experiment. You break your ass just trying to keep up, I've found every slip, every variable and without getting crazy possibly every thought and mood, could reduce yield or potency or both. I try to treat fungus more gently than explosives. That being said It's really planning. You can make almost all of it from scrap very nicely. Methods tend to be personal and learned, I knew a friend who badly tried to pump bulk for money and kept failing and skipping steps out of either laziness or taking on too much. For sure there was defeating bad habits but, going back to spooky, he was never grounded or happy or intentional.
I think mushrooms operate in a semi spooky realm physics hasn't caught up to yet.
