First time growing, how do you think I’m doing so far

This is my first time growing. I am using a small closet in my basement with aluminum foil on the walls only using 2 25 watt led lights that are on stands. How do you think I’m doing so far

Coming from the land of “ marijuana must die “ it’s hard to process why put effort into something that’s going to yield a joint or two.

You must know this already it’s your light that’s holding you back

However if I look it as under the current circumstances it looks good

Just more would be more… nice

For a first time this is fine (: lamps are indeed holding you back but ey you work with what you got, right. Considering that most first timers don't even make it to harvest.

Don't know if all these pics are of 1 plant through stages or not, but studying nutes and how your plants use those will also bump you up a level.

Buds look good but as gmix said you definitely need a better light. Idk if you are anywhere near north Jersey but if you are I have 2 lights that are just sitting since I got my new one. Ones a 300w and ones a 100w. Both were only used for two grows each. I’d do 90 on the 300w and 40 for the sf1000 pre dimmer. The 300w is a bestva it’s on amazon if you want to check it out.

Like I said, I’m a first time grower I’m just experimenting and I definitely have more than one joint there. I have more like a half ounce on that one plant. I do not have money to invest are the room to grow I have a few plants outside. Also the weather sucks. It’ll rain two days in a row and then sunny then rain again. It is what it is. I’m enjoying it. Peace out.

It rains too many days out of the week Being under control of the weather indoors is nice, but I do not have the room for a grow tent. Thanks for the help though.

First time with smokable flower is a win for sure! My first plant I smoked it all in one setting with a lemon makeshift pipe lmao...

I take two maybe three hits off a joint. I’m good for a couple hours then I light again and then repeat in my younger days. Yes, definitely would smoke 10 joints a day. I think the smoke now is a lot stronger than it used to be. Maybe I’m wrong, but I do miss certain types of marijuana that you can’t get any longer.

This is a pretty good deal.$333 Probably the best you’re going to find. It’s a reputable brand with a decent light for 1-2 plants. But if you have a closet and want to go cheap you can build a pretty good grow room for fairly cheap. You need a good light, an exhaust fan, and a smaller 6-9” fan.some black plastic and a zipper. If you can control the temp and humidity in the lung room. Still going to cost you 200+. I’m actually thinking of picking up this tent myself now lol.

Yea the height is the only issue with that one. But that’s a great idea. Is there a way to vent outside and still use the carbon filter?

Fantastic, I bought two boards and only used one for the bottom. I elevated the tent for old person access and to make irrigation safer. So a board on top makes great sense, thanks.

You could put filter in and fan out, or a new filter could be the outside termination. You shouldn't reverse filter flow, once it's been used.

Any way the air goes through it will filter my fan pulls the air through and out an exhaust hose. Next grow I'll replace the filter and put both fan and filter on top as a push through.

Maybe I'm just old but it sounds like you're putting on a catalytic converter before your manifold. . Hope it works out well for you.

I too am old, and I understand what a plenum, forced air fan, and filter are used for. As long as you maintain a negative pressure within the plenum and the expelled air has been filtered why does the configuration matter? The instructions say the same.

I have the ac infinity filter that I can replace the charcoal. I never thought of that thanks but I don’t really see an issue reversing it after fresh charcoal and a cleaning.but if I’m wrong let me know . I can’t put the filter outside because I’m trying to keep it inconspicuous. And if I put it inside the tent I mind as well put the whole fan inside unless I can run it vertically in the corner or something. I was thinking of building a plywood box that I can put the fan in over the vent hole on the tent.if I can seal it good enough it should be good.
