small and bushy is probably because of all the cutting and training you did to it and possibly your watering habit,..
I’ve been watering every like three days. I’m not too mad at small and bushy since I just moved into the suburbs. I had planned to keep them shorter. Was hoping for more like a 4-5 foot than a 1-2 foot ha.

I guess I can’t tell whether they’re trained okay and will yield okay with a bunch of smaller colas, or if I fucked myself here.

Any tips hash master, or anyone else? Should I release the lst ties? I also haven’t fed them ever 😅 probably power bloom time

well i’d stop pruning,,
just have to ride out it out till next year,.
no reason to top and train that much outdoors, that stress can weaken the plant and make it easier for mold mildew rot pest etc to infect plant,.

The rest of my little chaotic corner.

Buddhas hand, the coolest looking fruit ever, got in ground. Look at its little strong hand. Reminds me of the dude from scary movie. I love octopi so I’m a bit biased.

@durbin92810 look at my corn 🤣 😭

Melons are coming to the party late, grapes are responding well to be trained, my wife has the succulent and avocado station going full force. And a pineapple! I gotta get her to help me with starting the weed lmao

The cats like climbing the fruit trees so they’re knocking a ton of fruit off, not even mad. Busted out the jack hammer and broke most of the cement up in the yard. Gotta sledge the bigger pieces into more manageable chunks, then sand, foam layer and artificial turf. The playground will go here, then garden beds going smack in the middle of the lawn.

Okay maybe I’m not too much of a failure
Nice bro!!!! Looks like you've been busy.

Right I hear ya. Season has been kind of wonky for me, moving and what not. Next year will be better for sure, just seeing if there’s anything I can do now, besides get out of the plants way ha. Looks like I just gotta let it ride.

I agree with @GNick55 . You gotta let them bush out. Leaves are like solar panels. The more of them soaking in the sun the more energy they'll have to go towards the flowers. Especially outdoor.

Yeah I’ve heard that phrase before which makes a lot of sense. I’ve done a lot of bending and fimming, but only went thru and pruned leaves and lower branches twice. I think I might have been fimming too aggressively. Who knows!

Sorta, trying to be lol. For the record, I planted those corn before you planted yours 💀

IMMA GET IT THOUGH MARK MY FUCKING WORDS THERES A BOUNTY IN THE (more distant than I wanna admit) FUTURE

Who knows? Who knows? We're telling you from experienced outdoor growers. Less is more.

@Galgrows sorry I didn’t mean in the context of who knows what to do, I meant more so of who knows which of my impulse decisions slowed them the most 🤣

was it the green house training, with 16 hours of light, swapped to the shady side of my house with only 6, or so direct hours? Then back to the other side of my yard with a little more?

or maybe the no feeding, growing in my mystery soil, watering on a loose schedule. loose like diarrhea.

Constant fimming by my meaty fingers?

Or being my cats jungle gym…

Maybe they’re mad I didn’t get them ice cream when I drove them here.

Options are endless!

That Buddha's hand thing looks wild...what is it?
Oh my bad. 🤣🤣 I'm rooting for them.
I just cut all mine down and getting ready to sow more seeds.
We've got our second corn coming up (about 3") and we just planted more green beans and cucs (these are more for canning than slicing).

Training outdoors is hard my man, you've gotta start them super early if you want massive trained beasts. Depending on where you live I suppose. Gotta remember they'll gain a shitload of size between now and flowering from stretch!
