It looking good
sometimes it’s better to just let the plant roll with a lean back technique like that it’s generally how I do things I either put a 45 or 90° angle in mine with a clip where I use a stake to pin in place and then I get the topping it it keeps you from having to remove any lower stalks, so it really is a better way to go about it. There’s less stress involved for the plant in the beginning of its vegetative cycle. Now you are the master of your kingdom here you can basically make that plant. Do whatever the hell you want to you just gotta use pins or L shaped stakes I’ll post a bunch of pictures for you and then I’m gonna give you a couple of videos about super cropping which will get you putting that plant back into its place a little bit later, slap it around elbow drop it kick it in the junk make that shit do what you want to do
Gingerly that is
But seriously, seriously as long as you approach everything delicately, but with a firm touch, you can legitimately make these plants do whatever the fuck you want you can grow them into whatever shape whatever height you can have them snake on the ground through other plants in outdoor gardens like I used to do way back in the day in order to hide my cannabis plants in my grandmother‘s rose bushes
The name of the game is just keeping the plant out of its own way, and making sure that you can make as many top sites available to the light as you possibly can without having to sacrifice possible tops or subsequent lower nodes that could become tops

Thank you both for your replies, and Capt thank you all the pics and videos will help alot. This lady however is a autoflower so I don’t believe or I read any how that anything other the LST is probably not the best thing for the plant with the recovery time and all. I tried using stacks bro and it’s way too loose in the soil I push it down and it pulls back up more then I like how do you control that issue? And yes since my grow area is so small we are talking 1.6 x 20x1.6 I have plenty head room at 60 inches it’s a closet converted into a micro grow so I want to shape it like a Azalea Bush if u know what they look like kinda short and bushy is what I’m attempting.

Longer stakes should get them to stay in better. It’s such a pain in the butt when they won’t stay in the soil lol

Most people don’t train autos and I dont personally grow them but I definitely think you could maximize the yield by doing some very light handed stretching just can’t do as much topping because it might take too long to recover.

I am landing my second set of autos soon. Training was just tieing down node stems. Did have some stretch as the lights we set to low for a while but developed into standard crown and missile configurations.

Yea I want to do photos but I will have to do a little work in that grow spot it does leak a little light not much but enough to effect it when I switch it to 12-12, so that’s why I decided to go with autos for now I do have so femalized photos I may grow my 3rd or 4th grow it’s just a pain in the ass to work in my current grow area. Jim she looks nice man you did a good job nice fat buds on her. And yea again I’m just bending easy I’m bending all the side branches that are growing up now I’m trying to bend them over to the right side of the pot to fill that side in hopefully I can get it to grow the way I want. Another issue I’m running into is and this only happens a hr or 2 before lights go over but the leaves will droop bad almost like it looks over watered which it’s not I use a self feeding bottom feeding base very very hard to over water with them and I feed it from the top I just put a base inbetween the fabric pot base and the plant to catch the run off and just water a little less then normal just to get 10-20% run off but I take it off that base for 24 hrs before I feed so it drys out some and another 24hrs before i remove that runoff base and let it start watering from the bottom again I do it this way so it avoids salt build up but yea idk why it does it has to be in the genetics cuz it pops up to normal when the light comes on any of u ever had issues like that ?

My first 2 autos I tried to train like a photo where you direct them out one side of the pot.

Mine ran out of stretch just as I pointed them at each other. Had a stem out here and a stem out there.
Comical really.

And because I tried to move them horizontal they got weak and I had to support them with wire.

Let me see a droop picture and whole plant. I had an issue first 2 where around 10 o'clock on 18-6 they would express unhappiness in the environment by drooping and curling leaves. I was under the saturation rate for cannabis but over the DLI for 18 hours. Pulling back to 38-40k lux fixed the issue.

Yea Jim that’s what I’m running her at 18-6 here’s a pic now keep in mind it looks like shit like this every time about a hr to 2 hrs before that light goes off she does this like I said soon as the lights back on she’s back to normal I’ll show u a before light off pic and soon as light comes on after. Also a little back into on this so u know, she’s only been fed once via fox farms nuts soil as well her first feed was last week she’s do for one today soon as the lights pop on tonight, I only started her with 1/8 strength of what was called for. My temp stays around 77 never went past 80 and that’s only cuz it was so humid outside and I live in a camper so that’s damn near a hot box but I have a ac in here my lung room and like I said its never got over 80 humidity bounces from 55-70 never higher then 70 and that’s not often most times I’d say 90% of the time it’s running 60% humidity VPD 1.1-1.2 during lights on lights off temps normally 73-74 humidity 55-65 vpn about 0.99-0.98 original cheese from supreme seeds auto. She’s bottom feed via self watering fabric pot base 6.5 ph and as I stated before only been fed once big green and cal/meg tonight she will be getting some micros and she is showing flower about 3-4 days now so I only got about another 2-3 weeks before she goes full flower and i switch nuts.

If you have a way to measure your light energy I would do so. Same presentation for going over DLI. Reducing from 50k lux to 38-40 stopped this in my tent. 🤙

Issue is I can’t turn my light down it’s a mars ts600 100w led light that’s one thing I don’t like about this light. So what would u recommend with that issue at hand? Get a different light? Or is there something I can do? Cuz if what you’re talking about has to do with how much light they are absorbing and I don’t have a dimble to turn that light down only thing I could do is move it up? But I don’t think that could fix that issue either.

One last thing Jim I do have this digital soil tester it’s a 4 in 1 tool it also measures how much light the plants getting would that work? If not I did download a DLI app idk how accurate it’s gonna be but it may give me a general idea of the light it’s getting and I also googled pics of plants with DLI issues and it looks just like my plant so I think u figured my problem out lol I appreciate u really thank you

Will do. What I’ll do if u have time later tonight I’ll message back here after 8 pm est when lights come on and after I feed her so more like 8:30 ish I’ll set the app I downloaded up in there and give u back the number it gives me and go from there see if u still recommend moving the light once I get a reading idk what would be too high or too less or just right unfortunately and I can’t find much online either

I will definitely do it either way just to see how she reacts and you’re right it won’t hurt to see if she reacts in a couple days to it . Currently I believe it was sitting around 19”20” I did move it up this morning maybe a inch or 2 it was at 18” but I’ll move it 6” from where ever it is now and see what it does

U know anything about ppm? And why is it higher way higher then what I put in? So I gave just a little more nuts this time went from 1/8 to 1/4 and ppm read 417 which was perfect but runoff first check was 863 then I checked again and it was 919 tf is going on? I haven’t done the like yet I’m still working on this issue

Aight moved the light up to 22-23 see what it does. Thanks ago for your advice my man, best wishes to you , that’s her now see how she’s popped back up? Crazy how they do this .

I tried training my apple fritter auto yesterday and I screwed the pooch. Snapped the main cola. It’s still together but I definitely bent it more that I should’ve. Hopefully she pulls through.

I guess it didn’t hurt it too bad the top is already pointing up.
