Hey fellow Big Bud thumbs!

I’ve got these gorgeous, healthy ladies thriving over here—never had to spray a thing on them, and they’re doing just fine! 🙌

So, funny story: I accidentally gave them a lollipop trim (oops!) and then found out you don’t really need to do that for outdoor plants. Who knew? 🤷‍♂️ I also topped them once, and they’ve been cruising along ever since. These are Purple Kush I started in Late May to the first week in June. I am in Northern Michigan.

Now, they haven’t started flowering yet, but I remember someone here mentioning it’s a good idea to give them another trim before they do. Should I? And if so, what exactly should I be trimming? Any other suggestions?

I’d love your advice to keep these ladies happy and healthy. Thanks in advance, you awesome big bud whisperers!

I don’t think you need to do any trimming on those they look happy as can be 👍👍 welcome from a fellow Michigander. Maybe spin that one in the 5th pic it looks like maybe some leaves overlapping with the other plant next to it ? That’s where you’ll run into issues with leaves laying on other leaves

I would let them grow! You might want to jam a piece of bamboo a couple of inches from the base of the stalk so you can tie off on it to support the stalk when the weather gets gnarly! If those small pots, give it a good enough anchor! Otherwise, you’ll probably have to go with some kind of external support and do some spider webbing!😁

They made it throw an "almost" tornado a few days ago. I was 3 miles away from the rotations the meteorologist seen. No touch downs thankfully.

Looking good. I too am doing an outdoor grow and like the group said, leave them be but definitely start setting up a support system. I didn’t defoliate or prune until
Preflower hit a few weeks ago. I like my veggin cannbis plants like my women: THICK! 😂🫡😎

Didn't James Brown have a lyric like that in one of his songs? LOL
