Hey Oldchucky, the turkeys made an appearance this morning and I swear one of them is the same one that visited my flower garden a couple years ago! LOL

And an idiot at the helm! Time to weigh anchor and steam full speed ahead into the maelstrom! Decided to try dark heart nursery, you can put them out in March and April if they are seedlings. Bullshit! Nothing but a cute little balls and cute little buds! A couple haven’t shown yet but I don’t have high hopes. but being an accomplished failure, I have 12 more in the solos. And more seeds to pop. The only thing perpetual about my grows is perpetually popping and starting new seedlings to replace the ones I kill! L O L! Been getting bugged about starting a thread for the summer so time to make my ineptitude a matter of public record. Stop in and take a look if you want to feel good about yourself. Will post some pictures and updates periodically. And howdy to all you hot weather growers.
Yes I heard that! I do mine on the Mars set full spectrum. I put mine out in March. I just had a lady start budding but it's fine cause she'll go until Oct 30th Halloween 🎃 🎃 🎃 probably... your a smart guy old Chucky! Here's my ladies yesterday! Woohoo

Nothing smart about it! When you pick yourself up off the ground a few times and shake off the cobwebs you’ll learn to keep your chin down! Mother nature‘s got a mean left!😁 plants are looking good! Hope you have the season to get them to October!👍

A question for y'all....I've got the bigger earth tone bags to use next time and my plan was to get some pavers to set them on but perhaps it's better to just place them on the ground?
The problem of limited space will also be a thing here where landscaping is mostly rock and my backyard is darn small. Wife is not about to allow the weed plants into either of the raised beds and I'll be using some of those bigger bags for tomatoes also because those need more space than they've been getting.

In my opinion, it is always better to elevate the pot on something! I use a couple pieces of PVC! When you put them directly on the ground, you are cutting off an awful lot of drainage and evaporation! So the pot doesn’t dry out as evenly as possible! Once the plant gets big enough to contribute to drying out the pot through transpiration then it’s not as big a deal!

So I used our extra fence posts instead of rocks. (hubby was happy, he does cut there occasionally)
Because I have 3 rows of 6, the outside rows are leaning away from the middle. 6 North, 3 South, 2 West.
We'll see what happens.

🤓......

Yeah.....🤔

I wanna know.....🫣

Ok......ok......

I need to know....🙃

The way I look at growing, yup reread my disclaimers, there are a couple options......

Do it the right way....👍

Do it the wrong way.....☠️

do it differently, and hope we get the right one....🎭

In all actuality, I may be kinda stubborn in my ways, but I'm always, ALWAYS, down to try something different, possibly better.....

And Oldchucky,......

Your great idea wasn't a, take it for the team type thing, but if there's any doubt something might work, give me a holler......

I'll take one for the team and put a plant through the wringer..!!!!

Ya know, for the groscienceers.....🥸
