Hey everyone

First time grower here. Got 5 plants in total and 4 of my Amnesia Haze are behaving strangely. Made a bit of a rookie error — the lights ended up on 24hrs for around a week before I caught it. Before that I was running 20/4 consistently. Since then they've been throwing out loads of long white pistils which doesn't look quite right to me.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Those look like normal autos moving into flower to me, not damage from the light mistake. Autos don't wait on 12/12 the way photos do, so a week of 24/0 usually just means they got a week with no rest period. It can make them a little stressed or thirsty, but it wouldn't make them throw pistils for no reason. The long white hairs are just fresh pistils as the bud sites start stacking.

I'd put them back on whatever schedule you want to finish with, 20/4 or 18/6, and leave it steady now. Don't try to correct it with darkness or start changing feed hard because of the pistils. In the pics the plants are pretty dark green and a couple leaves have that slight claw/rich look, so I'd be more careful about overfeeding N than worried about flowering. Let the pots cycle properly, keep air moving, and let the autos do their thing.

Welcome to the farm, @Nalali.
What is it about the situation doesn't look right?
The lighting mishap probably made no difference in when the plants flip. Ruderalis doesn't flip because of light changes.

So whether they burst into flower because of something you did or because they just felt it was time, doesn't really matter. With autos, once they start to flower then that's what they're going to do and you can't stop it or go back to veg. Your ladies are flowering, and that's a good thing, so now you keep taking care of them. Keep watering properly, top dress or feed them flowering nutes as needed. Maybe turn your lighting up just a little bit each week for a few weeks and enjoy the show. They look healthy and bushy so they should produce well. You got this.

Hello

Thanks so much for the reply, I think its because they look a lot different to the other one, however it is a different strain. My light set up its fair basic, 360w led in a 4x4 which i understand probably isnt enough but its what I have...

Regarding turning the light up... its been on full for a while now but ive adjust the height.

Currently using canna for food and canna terra for soil.

Again thank you for your reply and any tips always welcomed!

Cheers
N

You might want to reduce the light to 75%
However they look fine & just as they should
You get variety even within the same strain
That two don’t look alike is more than normal.
The long hairs will turn into buds ; pic of random plant in full flower so you know what to expect
Btw I run my autos from seed to harvest 24/0 as said autos don’t care about light & alou it will annoy some it’s been proven that you do get a extra 15% yield on 24/0
Autos don’t need a rest period they live so little time that was proven with data so f anyone who wants to argue about it go talk a walk as I can already hear the cries.
( I wish i could find the data however it was on a site that got taken down many years ago by the fbi & the folks who had input like subcool & uncle Ben are not around anymore)
Anyway here’s the pics I only added the f bomb as o can’t be bothered with bitching about this n that no more with the plants must rest folks
I ain’t here to please them & if they want to moan about it I ain’t gonna read it.
Anyways the pic I promised
