Yeah, the freak show crosses might be better! But I’ve learned to stay away from that strange stuff! It’s mostly a novelty! Just in my opinion!
The freakshow and superfreak didn't make sense to me...take a solar panel and reduce it's panel size by 3/5's and expect the same energy output????? Nah!

But bindi bud doesn't do that and it's been known about since the late 70's, and kind of like all the ruderalis crosses now, it wasn't understood for a long time.

Just on a absolute potential basis...there is promise.

Will it ever surpass just good ole sativa, nah but in the right market I see potential. I guess we'll see.

Yeah! You’ve got a good size piece of land! Give it a try! But I wouldn’t put all my eggs in one basket with that kind of stuff! I had high hopes for the freak show, but it turned out to be pretty much of a flame out! You win some, and you lose some, but there’s nothing wrong with trying!

Posted some pictures , to be honest... I was let and topping them and shortly after I noticed it starting to shoot pistils like crazy so I stopped, they started to flower at about 4-5 weeks than have been in flower stage for few weeks
Rooke is running some autos! And he picked the best time to start them and run them! His are looking killer and he will get a good yield if something else doesn’t screw up! But a lot of people have found themselves back down at the dispensary a lot earlier than they thought they would be with autos! You can’t screw up their veg!😁🍻

Oh heck no...again I grew up on good ole sativa and I liked it. I liked it a lot (what movie was that?) And yes that's the way of the world...win some, lose some.

Ya double is bullshit, my best plants usually gain 10" or so?

If you're doing everything right it could just be your soil/medium guy. I just taught my buddy to grow tents, I stressed VPD I don't know if it would help here.
You mention Vapor Pressure Deficit (vpd) lowering leaf temps is why i use shade cloth over 85°f
anyways...
With enough sunlight and good nutes and enough space for the roots to continue spreading, 2x height spurt at onset of flower isn't just possible, it's actually foreseen.
2024 summer grow
Starting an under 3 week "stretch":
Cuz i saw this shit:
1000002149
1000001899

During
1000002125

After about 3 weeks
1000002698

That's a third of one plant .then they stopped getting taller by the day and got fat
1000003219

I didn't document the grow very well last year but I did take pics at certain times when different phases would begin

@willyum Here's one of my Blueberry strains this year.
Day 1 of preflower she was just over 2' tall.
Day 16 of preflower she is just over 5' tall and still not flowering yet. So another week of this and another foot of growth probably. My favorite part is how tight the node spacing is even though she's doubled in size. She keeps it up she's gonna give me some really big colas.

But what do you think of the growth? Doesn’t it look kind of viney and all over the place instead of neat and orderly? Just wondering! I have experienced that! Still got a good harvest out of it! But it wasn’t pretty!
Growth is very good, for the majority of it. I got a mulberry tree, and a 60' pine tree that robs me of my morning rays. So I've trained a few of the branches from the dark side, to the light.
Kinda left a hole, let's lots of air in though.

Nice soil where the roots seem to spread makes a plant that's probably almost an entire ecosystem

We'd actually got good rain, yesterday evening. So soil is wet, but it is fed well. Lots of fish go into it, as well as unwanted rodents, grass clippings, leaves from the maple tree, green beans vines, ect. Amend with composted manure, and a fresh batch of fish, come spring.

We're not talking a few fish.

What up growers! Outdoor update shots. Had some mite runaway but used some insecticidal soap with good results. New growth is looking good. I need to top dress tomorrow with a watering. They are really starting to drink it down! Sorry for any reposts of pics. My high ass cant remember where or what I’ve posted 😆🤣

When do you bury the fish? Early Spring?
About a week after I put seedlings in. I let them get established before I'd dig a ditch around each plant to bury them in. I dig till I hit hardpan, then bury them and mound up around the plants. Don't want the trash pandas digging them up, so it's gotta be deep.

Ok good to know. I'm starting a no-till process with my beds this offseason and just getting ideas. Might be able to incorporate this but not sure yet.
