Hey Jon,
...
Looking forward to seeing those grow diaries after harvest! That kind of documented regional growing data is incredibly valuable for the community. Real-world performance data from challenging climates like yours helps everyone make better decisions.
Keep up the great work providing quality genetics to your local network — that's how the community really grows.

Trying some autos! My winter autos were shit so hopefully 2025 smiles upon me
anybody else eagerly awaiting june? Think I’m gonna start my photos in april or so inside.
Assuming it is an auto! In my opinion, if you’re gonna grow in plastic pots, you better make them big ones! They seem to be pretty hard on roots! At least you’re learning how to read and react!

Pictures 3 and 4 are a couple of stragglers that are catching up. All good in the hood. Those two are the only ones without support, north east wind yesterday got em doing the gangster lean.
I had her in the ground and pulled her up so I could get more control. Otherwise I probably would have lost her completely. This is one of the four mystery plants. I have no clue what it is. Germinated on March 16th so if it's an auto...it's a slow ass auto or I fucked it that bad. Likely the laterAssuming it is an auto! This is another of the mystery plants that I used Leroy’s (male mystery plant) essence on to get seeds. Which seems to have worked well. So next summer with better planning wrt sun I can see if they are worth reproducing or not. I will say these more skunky ones seems to handle my heat and humidity much better than the other one.I had her in the ground and pulled her up so I could get more control. I use concrete reinforcement wire on top. The two little ones, wasn’t expecting much, I’ll stake them eventually.Remesh?
I was going to go that route as well, but I didn’t want to put forth that much effortI use concrete reinforcement wire on top. The two little ones, wasn’t expecting much, I’ll stake them eventually.
That's what is called remesh in some circles, I thought that's what it looks like but thought I'd ask. Definitely sturdy enough. Do you see any signs of it rubbing and scarring the plants?I use concrete reinforcement wire on top.
First time I’ve ever seen someone use 6x6 concrete wire for Scrog. Only noticed bc I’m an engineer. I just wouldn’t want my bud against metal, at all.View attachment 2489950View attachment 2489951View attachment 2489952View attachment 2489953View attachment 2489954View attachment 2489955View attachment 2489956View attachment 2489957

Not sure if this stuff i have was for concrete or just hog wire but its large squares and metal. Im really liking how stable it is for support. If it’s low enough i dont think one would have to worry about the buds touching any of the metal : )First time I’ve ever seen someone use 6x6 concrete wire for Scrog. Only noticed bc I’m an engineer. Keep us updated!
Yea, it is 6” of center, comes in 20’ sections, but rusts bad. Good idea though! I used my son’s soccer goal he wanted to take down.
