Good day fellow connoisseurs.

I have just got into this and my first grow is doing relatively well I believe, I hope. I am growing a sour stomper auto indoors, currently at week 4 from germination, she had 7 nodes and topped a few days ago, now at 6 nodes and starting to stretch all the branches, hopefully the top will steer into 2 main stems however for the past week prior to topping she had pistils on the main stems at nodes and past couple of days has tiny pistils at top sites as seen in picture.

Need some expert or better informed info, is she going into preflower stage?

I am currently running a 1.3 - 1.45 EC of AN micro, grow and bloom, also b52, voodoo and calmag. Temps 24c/75f - 26c/79f. RH 65% - 70%. DLI currently at 36 on a 20/4 cycle.

Thanks alls.

Happy growing.

I think it's definitely getting ready but I'm a super amateur lol so maybe wait for someone else. Pretty plant! If you don't mind my asking, where'd you get the seed from?

Thank you.

I was given them but told they are sour stomper mephisto genetics.

It's mature enough to determine it's a female but it isn't moving into flowering yet. White hairs will start coming in at the tops. I guess I don't really get what the big deal is about an auto moving into flower, I mean it's not like it isn't gonna happen if you don't do something. I'd be more thrilled over just seeing hairs instead of sacs.

I'm sorta with ninjadogma on his statement too, you know how long it's estimated to take, so congratulations on it being a female!

I've never played with autos but I gotta say the notion of starting and finishing a plant in less time than a Durban takes just to flower, that's an attractive proposition to pop a seed out there with all the photos for a bonus plant that finishes the same time.

I assumed autos were all feminized thats how they are AUTO that along with at 10% ruderallis spliced in the genetics to make it a true auto

Honestly the Time you save is all likely hood about 2-3 weeks and harvest rarely break 224 grams unless your some weed guru a can manipulate an extra ounce or 2

The more you know! Thanks for the information, I've never used an auto so was just going on the information on the genetics site. I guess they can be bunk and not produce flower, but that's very different and I guess pretty rare.

I would say that they are cool in the simple fact you can put them in the same tent as photos and lighting will not clash with each other

Genetics are genetics tho there is a science and truth to genes but the interjection of ruderalis kind of throws some of that off a little bit it has to. I've learned they're not as delicate as people think they are and you have time to LST and even top if you're quick

Thank you for the advice. Once it starts to flower I'll adjust nute ratios etc.

The ones I've been growing have been growing since mid April and if all goes well they have roughly 8-10 weeks left lmao. Not complaining at all it just really is neat what the crossing of ruderalis into the mix can do. I mean there's people all over who wouldn't be able to grow due to climate or other issues if autos weren't a thing.. I know that was like part of the whole point of crossing them but it's very cool.

Are you growing outdoors?

I am no expert either but have grown over a dozen autos....all the different ones ive grown boasted about the yield. Well haven't had one that lived up to it. Now I made alot of mistakes early...learned the lessons and have gotten better. Still saying Ive had a ounce off of 1 plant...thats my best so far. I use them to give me an idea on the strain.....I grew Blueberry Auto....liked the density of the buds and yield and taste.. So I will try the Blueberry photo. Understand with autos, as soon as it pops it's a race car trying to get to the finish line...if you make mistakes it don't have time to mend....ie when you trim a plant it gets shocked....May take 5 to 10 days to heal...(you just lost 5-10days of growth).
Good luck, listen to what other people say....just telling my experience.
