I assume it is photo? No indoors
I understand the same thing about veg time and all its basically a lit fuse all auto until recentlyI assume it is photo?
Photos do sound appealing just for the simple fact, you can veg it out for much longer, as far as I'm aware you can't with autos but it's easy to stress and put them into flower.
That's a beautyI understand the same thing about veg time and all its basically a lit fuse all auto until recently
I also went to the dark side and got 20 autos from ILGM. Def a learning curve but even when I got a pretty good launch and no real problems it comes down to one fact.
It's a tiny pot plant. Like 1/3 size and comparative vegetation. The extra 3- whatever weeks of veg and longer flower time means bigger plants and more yield.
I am working towards 3 oz per plant and will be happy with that for these seeds. 4th one getting close.
First 2 gave me 98 grams dried, 3rd plant in drying tent and here is 4th plant

They can get very frosty.

I have read that inducing stress with topping can accelerate/induce to flower growth times. I will definitely take a look at your diary. If you look in my diary a really cool point is how much faster the auto finished when it was topped. The first 2 got stunted with gnants and recovered. The 3rd plant got inadvertently topped at 7 growth but at node 6. It developed into a 6 cola top crown but actually finished much faster that this untopped plant. They were right about even before topping. View attachment 2492564
I feel the general marketed info out there is said as fact when it's only possibilities so I appreciate your info and experience but you are right for sure, space in a tent can be precious.Grown many autos, never had a problem getting 4-6 oz dried bud out of a plant, IF, they get a good start. I normally top once if they're growing well, and do a lot of LST. I've never noticed that topping or LST triggers flowering. They flower when they want, usually in the 3-6 week time frame. In a tent, the added time you can veg a photo is usually eclipsed by the fact that you run out of vertical height. My tent is 7 feet tall, the pot is a foot tall, my lights need to be at least 18-24 inches above the plant, and the lights need to be 12 inches below the tent roof for safety (fire danger), so that literally leaves about 3 ft of grow space in height, once you figure in stretch, it's not a lot of room.
Pretty girl thereGood day fellow connoisseurs.
I have just got into this and my first grow is doing relatively well I believe, I hope. I am growing a sour stomper auto indoors, currently at week 4 from germination, she had 7 nodes and topped a few days ago, now at 6 nodes and starting to stretch all the branches, hopefully the top will steer into 2 main stems however for the past week prior to topping she had pistils on the main stems at nodes and past couple of days has tiny pistils at top sites as seen in picture.
Need some expert or better informed info, is she going into preflower stage?
I am currently running a 1.3 - 1.45 EC of AN micro, grow and bloom, also b52, voodoo and calmag. Temps 24c/75f - 26c/79f. RH 65% - 70%. DLI currently at 36 on a 20/4 cycle.
Thanks alls.
Happy growing.View attachment 2492308View attachment 2492309View attachment 2492314
