13 days flower
Second cut on the same clones that showed no sign of progress after the first 6 days. These clones were my only chance at keeping a new set of mothers around for each cultivar that i had set to flower in my other tent. The strains I'm growing are:
durban poison
blueberry muffin
humboldt dream
jelly donutz
I took 4 cuts of each to improve my sucess of rooting new mothers of each.
today is 10 days since the new cut took place and we finally have signs of roots. I hadn't been regulating water temp the way i should have nor had the timer for the first 5 or 6 days:
The cloner is 3 gal.
I used a balance of:
Hydrogen Peroxide
Super thrive
Rapid start
Clonex solution
Clonex gel
15m on/ 15m off timer
Water below 70°f
Ph to 5.5 then diluted to 220-240 ppm
(Im starting with r/o)
Hopefully they have enough energy to pull through..
I made real deal silver thiosulfate solution or STS. I'll be brushing it not spraying it as its corrosive. So please never spray that shit!
The idea here is to keep these mothers alive and take clones to reverse. Harvest the pollen from each individual strain, then clean the tent and take another set of clones. This second set of clones will be pollenated carefully by the corresponding pollen. Allowing me to secure 100's of feminized seeds for 4 strains in one go.
We shall see.
Im eager to do more training this next go around and take a break from reversing after this run. I'll spend more time and energy focusing on training the plant and utilizing my space efficiently, but also seeing how fast i can pump out some monster colas. This rdwc system had me blown away by the rate of veg growth.. i ran out of time. The flower tent was supposed to be my mother tent to take clones from, but my cloning was unsuccessful, took too long. So I had to flip the mothers to flower and take 4 clones of each in hopes of sucess
