What are y’all’s thoughts on flower time cycles!?
Some people say that leaving them longer in darkness produces bigger yields. Rather a 12:12 cycle more like 10 on and 14 off.
I have yet to try this myself, and I would like to try it but let me ask the experts first, I’m sure I can get schooled here pretty quick lolol
Any advice helps, thanks!

Pineapple Express 14 days from being put in the flower chamber of doom.liking the way it’s setting up.

It trips me out what a seed can do this seed this one bag seed that sat in the butter tray in my mothers fridge for over ten years I though would never germinate. This seed comes from a batch of fire ass Pineapple Express from my “Cali plug” back when that was cool and although it was very common to find a random seed in the packs. For some reason I held on to this one. I honestly don’t have much of anything from my life ten or so years ago except the few things that were at my moms. But that’s not even the coolest part just since sprouting this seed I’ve grown it four or five times.also Have multiple clones that local friends that grow outdoor are growing this year. From one little seed. Just a trip.

Also cool I have one flowering outside (last pics) at the same time as well to compare the indoor and outdoor. I tried to do this with like three strains but two other ones I tried it with were male lol

I helped a buddy harvest a pineapple express.....you talk about a pungent smell...I mean it was a good smell...very strong.

Yeah I’m a variety whore I normally run at least four or five different strains out of 9 plants in the 4x4 haha make it a little more of a pain but I enjoy it haha

I'm going to go for filling a 6x9' scroggish type thinggy-me-bob
5-6 lbs easily (hopefully right? aim big & hit big, or some sh*t like that)


edit to add: only 6 plants in 3-4x6x36" rw slabs

It’s kind of become the thing that I use as a control to see if I’m growing better since it’s one of the first plants I ever grew. It’s good every time but getting better and better as I learn about it. I’ve grown it now under multiple lights in multiple mediums indoor and outdoor haha

This one in particular has a cool tropical smell with a real funky background keeps me going back for more when I have it in jars. I find that’s the best test for something I grow. The jar I smoke through the fastest haha

I thumbed it as in - good question. I've never done it,
but I've heard yay and nay about equaly, so I can't opine either way.
I will however say I'm of the school of "If'n it Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It"
12/12 works very well for me, until someone perhaps has some
evidence of a better way.... some day....

I had grok calculate my cost of my grow taking in mind the electricity cost where I live for the fan light and dehumidifier the nutrient cost and cost of coco and a small amount for seeds Comes out between $15 and $30 an ounce depending on yield and I once again ask

How is anyone not doing this?

If I included the outdoor it would blow your mind haha

Way easier now days with the affordable controllers like Infinity etc... you can experiment with all kinds of schedules without having to push & pull a bunch of pins and sh*t. But like you said; 12/12 is magical.... lmao

I tend to do the same. Pan Red, Skunk#1, Rick's Hash plant, purple chocolope and banana kush in one house...got columbian gold, appalacion Kush....got albino...shit can't remember them all...bunch of different strains

I am doing Punta Rojo in one house...problem is they all look alike...im not used to that...

@Berniemac,

I'm all about the "fuck around and find out." Any way you can take clones of the same pheno and run them side by side with the different light schedules? I'm inclined to think there are some specific genetics out there that might really dig it and some that won't.
