Almost 8am on the left coast and can't easily get out of bed with our baby not feeling well

She's 16 now and hasn't felt good the past couple days so she needs to be on me. As soon as my wife wakes up she can hold her so I can get some stuff done. THIS is so fking difficult to deal with as I know she doesn't have much longer and I don't want to waste any time that I could be spending with her. We lost her sister last year and at this point I don't know if we'll ever get another pet😥

I just started brainstorming about how cool it would be to do a pimp my ride/cribs style 2x2 . You could get like celebrity host doing interviews for growers with their face blurred out 🤣🤣🤣 or not for legal states.
The point of the show would be to promote homegrown, and showcase how everyone can do it, and should. Have a little tally running showing cost of equipment used with links to the company.
Every episode ends with a smoke report on screen with celebrity host and grower and then they giveaway a 2x2 set up to a subscribed viewer. The goal a 2x2 in every home in America, in the World!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What a great life she's had so much love an care. It's so hard on your hearts i can relate as i've been through it many times. Know that she's loved by you and your wife she feels it knows it. Safe and pain free journey little one.🙏

I’m sorry, such a huge weight on our hearts when our pets aren’t well. It’s important to keep them close, they feel safe and loved. 🥰 .

For 30 years of cats I have never held one of my fur friends at the end. As most go in and out daily when the end is near they tend to hide out or we find them gone in the morning. ( Smokey looked like a stuck hairball )

I view this as a thank you for good care and love through the lifetime they were with us. I would not like the emotional toil this would take on me.
Even with lots of memories of my brother when I remember him it always swings back to the hospice room, the sounds, the smells, the end.
I was gifted with a very well ordered and structured memory.
I was cursed with a very structured and ordered memory.
Both are true.

About 15 years ago I lost my fav, day before Thanksgiving. Action Jackson, or just Jack was an amazing friend. We would always share Thanksgiving turkey. He got a mouse that had been poisoned and I held him as he shook and took his last breath.

If we were younger we would be on the lookout for any unwanted kittens locally but today? I'll be 68 in a few months and right now do not want another pet. I've got lizards and birds I feed and talk to daily.

Yes it is just get some sore days here and there still try to stay light on it

Did some nice chopping back on the hydra plant and exposed the grafts to the light now all 4 took great!

The absolute worst on me but easiest on the pet was a rifle. After a past pet had to be euthanized due to age, the seizures REALLY bothered me and I took to "folk wisdom" route. It was, for the cat, instant and clean. It was NOT as hard as holding a spasming dying friend. And I couldn't just let a pet go through a door alone.
It's the worst time, there is no good route but as this is seldom done now it's worth a moral chat probably. I don't know if I could again even if it's the fast way, or maybe just couldn't again.

God brother I’m so sorry. Losing a pet or just having a pet your close with be sick is one of the hardest things in the world.
