Hi. I've been looking for an active web forum for growing to participate on.

I'm located in the Midwest of the US.

I personally am sober, but I grow for my wife and some friends. I used to partake, and maybe one day I will again, but it was causing some pretty bad anxiety issues so I stopped. I quit drinking at the same time. But, I really enjoy growing cannabis so I've kept at it. Please no advice on stuff to try that won't cause anxiety, I've tried it.

My wife however has had great luck with self medicating and has gotten off of her anxiety and depression meds thanks to what I grow.

I have several 3'x3' tents in an air conditioned building in my backyard that I use to grow in. Right now I am only using one of them, but once it gets cooler outside and I don't have to pay to cool the space that I am also heating with the grow lights, I'll increase my grow for the season.

I grow a mix of photoperiod and autoflowers.

The ones in the foreground are all autos.

Original Sensible Seeds Orange Diesel

2nd row

The ones yet to come up in the solo cups are Bloodstone, I have a bunch of seeds I made that are not feminized, so I am growing another round in order to produce feminized seeds if I get 2 females. Last time I tried this I only gone one female, lol. Of course thats my luck.

I have tried a bunch of different methods for growing, and I have settled on coco coir with hydroponic fertilizer as my preferred methodology. I use Masterblend as my nutrient. I used to do full hydroponic in buckets but I found I actually get far better results using the coco, and a lot less mess and pain in the ass. Dumping out and scrubbing buckets every few weeks was a real pain in the ass. And growing in dirt made it difficult to have fine control over nutrient levels.

This is the Speed Run Seeds Blappleberry x Barney's Farm Runtz cross. I have then crossed this with a Mephisto Grape Crush. I am hopeful that the purple leaf trait carries over, I plan to grow out a bunch of those to check for different phenotypes that might get the purple leaves I can then self pollinate and produce some copies of.

This is just stuff I do for fun and to challenge myself. I enjoy growing and love having a hobby that allows me to keep getting my hands dirty even in the middle of the winter. I enjoy keeping my wife well stocked, as well as gifting some to a few select friends. Any duds as far as smell or flavor we just make into RSO. I have a dog who suffers from grand mal seizures and she gets RSO treats which seems to help reduce the effects of the seizures.

I grow re-circulating drip in rockwool (currently down for summer). I drain>flush 1hr w/ plain RO water>refill & reset, once per week. It eliminates most nutrient related problems and grows monsters np.🤩

Love your style, I look forward to following along. 🤜😄✌️

Welcome @PixelPlanter! Sounds like you're a great husband and a great grower too. Nice plants, looking forward to staying updated.
