That same thing was on the other caterpillar plants. There’s a picture somewhere with it going through the stem on here.

I don’t grow outdoors. If I found one would scream like a girl and stomp bug guts for 30 minutes. Just to make sure it was extra deaded.Exaclty, incredible.
Have u ever had experience?
Bt stay for what? Bacillus thurgensis? If you have worms (which willin your buds) you can use a Bt product. It’s a biological spray and should be available in your area.

The Bt has to be consumed by the worm. So if the ones on your plant are boring into the stem, them no it will have no effect once it’s in. But I’ve had worms (that look like what Putthataway posted) that aren’t considered boring worms, but they’ll still eat into the stem. The cycle is a moth, lays an egg on the leaf, it hatches and inches towards the stem, chowing the leaf along the way and this is where the Bt can work. If you know the species then easy enough the look up the life cycle. The bt can bE useful with the internal larvae? I dont think so guys...
Outstanding post jacko420I'm finally trying to kill them manually, but unfortunately they've made holes in the stems, and I'm carefully cutting into each hole to get them all out.
It's hard work, haha, but I think it could help me save my crop; some of the inflorescences have already been cut and thrown away.
The temperatures here are dropping now, and that should really bother them...let's hope so.
I hope this discussion helps as many people as possible.
