Iron Butterfly’s 1968 song “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” is arguably the first heavy metal hit. The original version of the song that appeared on the In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida album was 17-minutes long, but it was edited down to under 3 minutes for radio play.

The song reached #30 in the US, the band’s only top 40 hit. Its namesake album In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida was the best selling album of 1969.

Im currently using zig-zag ultra thin 1 1/4.

Im looking for the thinnest/smoothest papers on the market.

Imaginary bs story: like that one time we were stuck in this Collarada mountain cab in 71. Nobody had a fucking watch, because we didn't give a fuck about time. However Funky Jeezus would get married the next day so we had to make sure we would be there before noon. We had this record player, a worn out copy of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida and a shitload of acid. Average trip lasts about 9 hours, so we figured that Stainey would be the designated time keeper. Whenever the fucking song was over, he would carve a line into the record player with his knife. So after he played that rotten shit plate 30 times the trip was over and then Stainy was never the same. He just came home from his Asia tour the year before and we were surprised that it didn't leave the slightest mark on him, but that night something deep within his soul broke forever.

Not saying they’re my favorite, but it’s what I have. They’re kind of short and a little bit small. If you lick too hard, you ll wipe all the gum off

Edit, with these small papers, I always felt like you had to have really good weed to make it worthwhile rolling. Otherwise, why don’t you stuff it in a bowl

I was an East Coast kid. The first time I stepped on to Mission Beach Man Oh Man!!! I had only seen stuff like that in the movies ! For real

It was like an ‘80’s movie! Hot Ladies on Roller Blades.

My uncle was USCG, academy officer. He was stationed in Long Beach, and same thing. East coast kid from upstate walks into Baywatch. 99% sure that's when boners turned from random annoyance into a force to be obeyed.
Also I got to talk to Kathy Ireland at a beach bar and childishly hit on her. I forgot if she's even still alive but I loved the football movie.

That's probably why she's doing well and alive. She went and did something useful.
What really fucked me up is seeing all the spots on the beach and it was considered odd to fish or trap crab. "I just buy it at the store...". Oh and everyone thought I was in the mafia and owned illegal guns because kids were "runners" in LA and all of ny is obviously NYC.

Tops like others have said since 1979-84 and then restarting in 2019.
Now though some group of guys showed me the way. Natural wraps and a RAW roller. Took me a while to get the hang of it but now I can roll a 2.5 gram double wide and if needed lay a ribbon of concentrate up the middle.

That one was epic. 1/2 bud and 1/2 red fur from the trim table.

1981-2001.... was stationed in Guam, Hawaii, Maryland. I was an aircrewman aboard P-3 aircraft. A tour with a reconnaissance squadron (spy plane), a tour chasing submarines and 2 tours flying scientists around mapping the magnetic abnormalities in the oceans. I got to see the world on taxpayers dollars. Got to see some dental floss bikinis in San Padre Island Texas and was in the Persian Gulf War#2 on my last tour operating remote control drones. Just to say the slant of the jewels are the same all over the world.
