I use 3 of their products. I do not use their sweet candy
It's basically powdered molasses, you can smell it as soon as you open the bag. Sweet Candy (Greenleaf) = carbs (sugar), amino acids, K, Mg, S, micros → basically a refined “molasses-plus” for microbes + direct uptake, without attracting fungus gnats and other bugs associated with raw molasses.

You should be using some form of molasses to feed your benny's and keep the soil healthy. If you are not, then you're missing out. Case in point, check out the Capt's bunker.👊🤡

Also, If you're going to become a bucket head (yay!🥳) I'd highly recommend the addition of Sweet candy. In hydro, unlike soil; you must supply every single nute and micro nute, that the plant(s) require to thrive. 👊😉

Less is more not every issue is calmag and do t be afraid of messing up everyone messes up enjoy growing do t be afraid to experiment
And for the love of God stay away from all the big YouTubers lol they will have u causing more issues than you started with

I am a simple man trying to crack the code and have the funs doing it.
My tip: be it cheap or luxury, get the gear. Get proper containment, watering, nutes, do the ABC steps. KEEP IT CLEAN, the method is the madness and it will reward. [insert deity] bless, in the year of [insert deity here too but should be same one].
My tag: @closettrapper217 my latest trade buddy! LOVE Fox Farm!
I have our sponsor's fabric pots and auto water bases, I love, it makes a difference, here evidence:
Yo bro, the code to cracking this contest is to tag TWO people lol.....

whant whant wahhhh...

Do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Try again mang👊😆

(Seriously, make a new post and tag 2 peeps. Like this:
@PlumberSoCal2 @[bff here]

If you win you owe me 51%),
{50%+tip for the tip😆}

but have no fear, Ima good guy and would just let you keep it all anyways;
as you need it more than I do 😉😘

If you want to speed up the finish time 1hrs less makes a remarkable difference.

Same age etc but different hrs after flip.

@Greenadian @figolus feeling lucky guys?

Hey team! We've had a lovely start to the day reading the first replies and the tips coming in. All the contributions so far have been super valuable and hopefully everyone's learning something ☀️

On the back of a couple of the contributions, we realize not everyone knows others on this site, so it is absolutely fine to tag members of the THC Farmer community you have come across, or interacted with, or seen post... we want this to be accessible and helpful...

KEEP 'EM COMING !!!! 22 (or so) days to go

Love from Homegrown Cannabis Co

When sourcing nutrients or additives for your grow, find out what the actual scientific name of it is and search that way.

A gallon of a silica product like Silica Blast or Rhino Skin is $50 or more.

Look at the ingredients. Its just Potassium silicate. Look up the dosing amount -

From Google -
For example, AgSil 16H may be prepared as a stock solution (e.g., 15g/gal) and then added at a rate of 38mL/gal of final solution according to Science in Hydroponics.

Agsil 16H is just powdered potassium silicate. Same exact thing I just ordered a pound of on ebay for $30 shipped.

There are 453 grams to a pound.
At the recommended 15 grams to a gallon, I just paid essentially $1 per gallon of silica additive for my grow.
This will last me years.

I'm going to tag a new grower I just sent some stuff to @BigShack
and @Greenadian for liking my gnomes.

Edit - here is a place you can order a pound of agsil 16H for $28 shipped

Their mix ratio is different, and a lot more concentrated. However, I've mixed it that strong before it and refuses to stay in solution.

It's worth mentioning vegging seeds with less hrs namely 12-12 ime is the quickest way to finish any given strain...it makes a surprisingly small difference overall but there's a list of benefits.
Depending on the situation I sometimes also employ 11-13hrs after sexing

12-12 from seed it's the best move I ever made for growing weed 👍

Here's my #1 tip for indoor growers:

Prioritize VPD instead of trying to get both temperature and humidity in the perfect range. It is the key to unlocking the most healthy plants, especially if you have issues controlling one or the other. It essentially balances the scale for lack of a better description.

I use the ACI 69 pro controller for intake, exhaust, a small heater and humidifier and let it do all the work. My tent is outdoors in a small uninsulated shed (basically a glorified porta-potty) that gets as hot as 111° but my VPD is mostly spot on despite big swings sometimes and the plants are loving life. And I get to control and monitor it all from my phone. 💚

Yes, the bennies love their sugars! Personally, I use pure maple syrup, since I always have some in the fridge. I add 1 teaspoon per gallon in my RDWC setup. I also like that maple syrup is comprised of more sucrose, which is not readily absorbed by the bennies. It requires the plants roots to break the sucrose down into fructose and glucose before the bennies can absorb it. I believe this helps manage the growth rate of the bennies and promotes more concentration near the root system. Molasses, on the other hand, is mostly fructose and glucose, so those bennies will be thriving in every nook and cranny of your system.

Geeking over the prospect of powdered molasses, I didn't know such sorcery existed! Gonna look into this for sure.
