Hey new to growing am about 3.5 weeks into it I’m using the flora series trio with all the additives in this feed chart that I’ve been using all water is Ph’d correctly and PPM below the max never above, just want to know if anyone else has used the same chart for growing in coco I think that the nutrients are too low compared to the light feed on general hydroponics feed chart am I right here and should I used the GH chart instead? The water takes long to dry out if I feed till run off then it takes about a week to dry out which seems long for 3 weeks growth in a 1 gallon? I’m growing in canna plus coco with perlite added to the mix, my water is half RO & hard water before mixing nutrients. Any help would be appreciated

My guess is you're starving your plants. Coco needs to be watered/fed daily. Water to runoff, allowing coco to dry makes it hydrophobic and it will accumulate salts from the chelated fertilizer, which will interfere with nutrient absorbtion. Raise the pots up so that they don't sit in runoff water. You need to get a TDS/EC pen and mix the nutes according to the manufacturer for the specific growth phase the plants are in. The hard water might also be an issue, I'd use distilled or R/O water.

Thanks for the reply I’ll get on mixing a new batch with RO water just read somewhere that both charts are high in pottasium (K) and that I should bin off the grow and just use micro and bloom as weed is supposed to grow better in veg on a 3-1-1 ratio any thoughts on this or would you continue using the grow?

Yeah, it’s mag deficiency is starting to creep through. I would definitely boost your amount of cal mag not buy a ton and turn your light down a little bit probably 15%.

Thanks for the reply, Yeah I turned my light up at the start of week 3, then I ended up turning it back down once I spotted the symptoms incase it was light burn, but I also counted wrong I’m actually almost 4.5 weeks in so has definitely slowed in growth from week 3.5 but with a mag deficiency it makes sense going to do a epsom salt spray just before lights out hopefully might slow it down till I figure the right nutrients out.

A fuller Spray isn’t really gonna do that much man in terms of saving off what’s already happened a lot of the times the damage on your leaves in particular or it’s very light so they’ll probably just green back up on their own just by you turning down the light and also light height has a lot to do with it as well and veg you shouldn’t go over 40% at any given time and your light should probably be set to 26 to 30 inches above canopy. I know that goes against everything that you’ve read online, but it’s true. It’ll definitely do the most in terms of help in your plant once you supplement it back into the soil and you have your lights set up high. The plan will start using it in a normal clip again because what drives magnesium deficiency is the intense power and proximity of these LED lamps so that is your best cure.
But it might not green back up at all all told, but the fact of the matter is is that any new growth is what you should be monitoring to make sure that it’s a nice healthy green again if it’s still growing out really light then you’re gonna wanna turn your light down a little bit more I know it sounds counterintuitive, but it’s not sometimes less is more in veg

As others have said keep coco wet. Adjust pH and check EC/PPM every feed. No water only unless it winds up a hot mix and you are clearing it. Based on pot size and growth of plants you may need daily or multiple fertigations. The medium and the plants will tell you.

My light I’ve moved up now as it was quite lower than the 26 inches and was put back on 25% the other day as my 200w light only goes up in quarters which is abit annoying but would explain the bushy nature of the plants aswell.

No reason to scrap your current plants. Get your watering and nutes under control and they’ll rebound. No need for additional bloom nutes until your thinking of flipping.
