I bought feminized seeds online. According to labels and what i ordered, it is supposed to be a variety of RUNTZ or GREEN POISON. IF NARROWED DOWN TO ONE OF THE EXISTING VARIETIES OF RUNTZ AND GREEN POISON, CAN YOU SUCCESSFULLY ID MY PLANT?? TY LMK

What other info do i need or how can i know what i have?
Outside of genetic testing, there is no way to tell. And for genetic testing you'd need a verified sample of the strain to compare to what you have. You'll have to go by what the breeder says it is. Within each strain there dozens of phenotypes, which further confuses trying to determine strain.

Did you grow bag seed or something like that? All seeds from banks come with strain info. Unless you get a mixed batch. When flowering begins you’ll at least be able to tell if it’s Indica, Sativa, or hybrid due to the length of the flower cycle.
Where did you acquire the seeds or clone?

That really doesn’t make sense. The label actually said “Runtz or Green poison”? Or did it say “Runtz X Green Poison”? Or do you have separate Runtz and Green Poison seeds growing and want to know the difference?

You plants your seeds and takes your chances. Pot seeds are like a box of chocolates...you never know what your gonna get.

You said it some form of Runtz.
Yes. I ordered RUNTZ & a few other strains. When i planted them I tagged thwm and my tag got gone. I know it is either RUNTZ or GREEN POISON. ACCORDING TO THE SEEDS SENT TO ME. IT DOESNT REALLY MATTER, I WAS JUST TRYING TO CARE FOR IT LIKE I SHOULD DURING FLOWERING STAGE. KNOWING THE 2 DIFFERENT STRAINS NEED DIFFERENT CARE NOW. I ALSO ORDERED RUNTZ, NOT WHITE RUNTZ ETC. SIMPLY RUNTZ.

DOesnt make sense?? The markers i put in the soil had the correct name. The marker got buried or lost. Therefore I do not know which it is.

Lol. No i didnt & wouldnt grow a bag seed. Id ya dont start with quality, ya have little chance to finish with a quality product.

Now I understand! You might, (and that’s a big might) be able to tell the difference, the Runtz is a 50/50 Indica/sativa, the Green poison is mostly indica, so the one with the thinner longer leaves might be the Runtz, but again, phenotypes could get in the way, so you can’t be certain.

Yea. Im not belly aching at all. Which ever it is is emaculate. She is an outright superstar. I topped her several times early to bush and keep a reasonable height. She is about 7 ft. tall & 6+ wide. As pretty & healthy of a bush as ive ever growed. Very satisfied so far.

There are over 20K different strains, unless it's something like a duckfoot, there's no way to identify a specific strain. About all I can say is it's leaning toward more sativa than indica.
Thank you very much, down under dipshit here, never heard of this home grown Ducksfoot strain, just read up on it and the leaf pics are super interesting, not the conventional weed shape at all, beans be pricey, but I think I'll grab some for an off property grow stealth grow, thanks again for enlightening me.

I gotcha. Lol & i appreciate your time and input. I understand it was a shot in the dark even asking. As far as quality, yield, smell, & looks, both were similar on a scale. I should have labeled and drew a diagram showing which was planted where. I got caught slipping i reckon!🙈
