Go to heat soak the motor earlier, and my damned oil sump leaked all the air out of the cylinder, turn on the ignition. Flip the switch.
Nothing.
So, drain all the royal purple out of the car. Remove sump. Remove gauge. Remove valve actuator and servo,
Clean out the sump. Take long screwdriver and compress the air/oil barrier plate to see if the cylinder seal is blown
If oil comes out the air gauge side you have an issue.
But I didn’t all is well, put back together, attach air to the shader valve, fill with compressed air until 100lbs per sq in
Then slow purge down to 6 lbs.
fill the dumb car with fresh oil.
Then turn on the ignition, this is the part where you better damn sure remember to leave the valve open on the cylinder because you just essentially pressurized the cylinder so it could then suck up 2 quarts of oil out of the pan so now you can finally start the car. It’s to oil all the essential parts with lubricant on the top side of the motor before you go and rape it with a 24 V starting ignition it’s kind of essential for saving wear and tear on your motors and they’re really worth the investment at the end of the day. It’s just a dumb thing to have an issue with because of of course
