Looks like you could’ve really been given it a little bit of nitrogen sooner that being said, there’s no rule against when you can or can’t flip a plant. You can flip a plant from the moment that it breaks soil you can flip a plant in six months as long as it’s not an auto, then you are the master of your kingdom in terms of that there’s no set rule that says one way or the other one you have to flip one. the genetics are the genetics there’s no optimum moment to make that happen it’s just all about ensuring the plant can have healthy transition from growth stage to growth stage all the way through the harvest. and depending on what your medium is or the quality of it at the same time will only depend on how many nutrients you need to feed your plants at any given stage of growth. But I would go ahead and top those plants at least get two tops on each one of them, and then split those apart and stake down each individual top, exposing all of the side nodes to the light turning any of those side nodes into future top sites further boosting yield potential in a pinch. that’s gonna be the one way that you’ll be able to maximize your yield Since you want to flip soon, but I generally like to have a decent healing time after I do something drastic like topping a plant that late in the game, at least ten days for the plant to repair and propagate the new growth. Because flipping to flower is an incredibly stressful time for the plant through the physiology changes that it goes through to the nutrient changes and demands that it will have.
My point here is is that if you’re going to top wait before you flip at least 10 days that way you’re not compounding stressors on your plant possibly causing hermaphrodite ism in mid to late flower nanners or the rogue pollen sack. I generally top at the fourth node right as a plant is getting out of seedling and going into veg generally but like I said, you should definitely try to get those things Topped
Otherwise, you’re gonna have a pretty small yield there
So I would just say for future reference man get into topping/LST with your plants a lot sooner as well as feeding them a consistent and baseline nutrient regiment a day or two after it gets out of seedling stage and into vegetative growth low-dose cal mag and medium dose n.
Through to flower basically. I like to preload my soil with a little bit of potassium a week before I flip as well. That way there’s nutrient already available for the plant as it’s making the transition which is less stressful for it as well
