As I see it there are two ways. 1 Use a mixing container to mix and add that to the reservoir. 2. Add water directly to the reservoir and make adjust accordingly for fertilizer.

What method do you use or maybe another method

3. Mix up new reservoir
OK. I think I need to explain a little. I am trying the Blumats. Gravity feed. I will have 2 reservoirs one that feeds the blumats and will in turn get feed by another reservoir
via a float in the first one. So that I have constant pressure to the blumats. My theory is that I could just keep adding my nutrient mix to first reservoir (when its low) and let it flow to the second. Of course I would check PH and concentration level.

I mix fresh nutrient solution for each bucket, ph accordingly then I keep a 10gal basin ph’d for topping off, I change all buckets at change of growth stage checking ph pre flush, to match it for the new solution.
I also keep 5 gallon jugs of good r/o at the ready at all times. Just in case of a spike in salinity, so I can cut the res water down if need be.
