I'm working on a grow room to try my hand with some autos for the first time so I can get through winter. North East is tough in winter, I know. I'm just south of you here in Virginia. I just hope I have good luck inside since I'm more of an outdoor grower.

If you can grow outside you'll do fine inside as well.

Was out this morning pulling caterpillars off the plants. A few had gotten on (the outside of) this purple Triangle Mint and their shit was bright orange (as opposed to the normal black). Guess it’s like your skin turning orange for eating too many carrots. 😄

Beautiful plant. I hope I get some of the same when cooler weather comes.

Got some photos.

My Skunk XL is doing well. She’s fairly well supported with stakes and string but I’ll add another row or two of string to coral and secure her. LOTS of tops!!!

Ms. Chunky Skunk is one stout and funky smelling lady. The internal stakes and strings are merely for support when buds get super fat, which their starting to now. The external support will hold a plastic cover to protect from late season heavy rains. It’ll be a challenge keeping her as dry as possible but it will be worth it if I succeed.

I like your style. Indoor grower here, did you defoliate / lollipop these outdoor grrrls, or, is that simply just natural growth, and if you did, is that for the very same reasons indoor guys do? Thanks.

I do outdoors in the summer and I do one plant indoors doing a screen of green method in the winter the stuff I do outside gets my wife through the winter. And yes I defoliated and lollipoped I also did some topping this was my first summer using the Bush doctor Coco loco and Coast of Maine Stonington fertilizer this is one of the best crops I've had and this is only my third crop ever. This is the first time getting the really nice purples on the plants.

Thanks, yes I scrog indoors as well. I haven't heard of your coco and fert choices and they seem to have done the job well. Since I was 16 when I first saw a poster of a Northern Lights #5 X my poor memory, I've always wanted to grow out a purple, now accomplished, harvested the Cheese strain a fortnight ago, the temp here, my inputs, or simply the strain, but I managed the purple colour then some turned inky black and now almost dried those same blacks have turned to another hue of purple, love it, well done and happy grows.

I live in Maine so it's easy for me to get the coast of Maine fertilizer the Coco I get on Amazon.

Morning all, we got our western smokey sky sunrise which was preceded by the Smokey sky sunset last night.
Grabbed 20 gallons of compost and did a little top dressing this morning and clicked some pics, pretty much on cruise at this point for most of them.

Beautiful!

You all have such great plants. Here's an auto that should be done soon... I think...

they may have great plants, and they do, but damn man, that's one incredible looking plant, I'm so outta touch with outdoor plants grown for any reason other than final product weight, yours, that single, umm, towering structure, just beautiful, and those trichs bolster the effect, happy grows.
