Week 2 veg:
Hmm, what's going on here then? Could it be an old seed or just bad genetics? I'm going to say it's old, but it will come through, and in ten days or so, this will be a bad memory. What do you think the issue is here? Sorry about the picture quality.

Day 14: Uff, what's wrong with her?? I've asked Herbie's Seeds for a replacement, but will continue with her out of curiosity. It's about to start coming away, but what will it turn into? It's officially stunted now and should have been starting its 4th set of leaves by now. Ah well lets see if i can get something out of her, but she will probably start flowering in two weeks so eekkk...silly little thing sort your life out. Im starting to think its genetic, but will know for sure in a few weeks . Stay tuned to see if i can make something of her!

Week 3 Veg:
I'm pretty stoked it looks like it's going to come back. Lets see what she does in the next week to see if she fully throws off that nonsense early on or gives up and reverts back to it. What do you thin k she is going to do?

kind of slow growing.... what kind of light you using?
Oh, bro, this fn thing has been fn around since the fn beginning (scroll up) Its only NOW showing like its about to shake off whatever the f was wrong with it.
I run two 450W Quantum PAR LED boards (Samsung diodes) its not the light, just check my other grows. Im growing this one for scientifical purposes...so we can all perhaps learn from something thats a bit freakish.

well if your growing for fun keep it.
Exactly man, im keen to see if i can turn it around and get something for my troubles and as its not taking up any room its no biggy..literally lol!

Week 4 Veg:

Well, it's doing something better than she has been, and I'd almost say she has fully recovered, almost. Still a stunted runt, I can't see too much coming from this. But I am enjoying watching her come back. Let's see how she does in the next week. I'm hoping for a lot more stem and leaf node production, and a bit of stretch would also be great to see to build my confidence in her.

Week 5, 1st week of Flowering. Finally, something is happening, and she is happy enough to begin preflower stretch. Pistils are showing on top, so technically this is the first week of flowering. Follow along to see how big I can get this stunted girl's cola.

Week 6, week 2 Flowering,
FINALLY a growth spurt i can utilise to my benefit. She has a polyploidal double flower top, rather old school Thai trait that too. As you can see, ive knocked her over and fixed her there to encourage what little secondary growth there is to perhaps be something a little more. At this stage its all manifestation as we have seen through this diary just how terribly stunted she truly is. So any growth at this point is a bonus! Pretty excited to have pulled her back from the brink...it was touch and go for a bit there and i almost pulled her out a number of times. Stick around to see how much she stretches before setting flowers proper in 5-10 days time.

Final update for week 5:

She is outside and caged to prevent my blimming carefree dogs or wild possums/rabbits having a go at her. After one night she has, as i had a sneaky suspicion she would, begun stretching like a crazy thing. A good portent for a healthy harvest. Now she can even access the IMO's (indigenous microorganisms- we have some of the best in the world) from this thermal region!

Ah shit that last post was for the wrong dang plant! Again -
Final update for week 5:

After one night, she has, as I had a sneaky suspicion she would, begun stretching like a crazy thing. A good portent for a healthy harvest. Now she can even access the IMO's (indigenous microorganisms- we have some of the best in the world) from this thermal region! Start of the second week of flowering, and she has a double-headed polyploid bid on top, which should be fun to watch fill out. Any mods around? Please delete the post directly above this one, as it's from the wrong diary.
