Getting ready for another beating.
Rain is coming, lots still in recovery from last week’s storm, I did a little repair work after that but mostly left it to the plants.
So today I staked up the 2 plants that really got beat up, one had recovered well but the other one was still floppy so it has 5 stakes.
Had no significant issues with the big bed grown plants as they are going up through 3 layers of trellis netting.
Here’s my 🤞pics after tying them up, we will see as this is supposed to be a big quick storm so damages are a potential…

This was flopped over last week, still not very well recovered so it’s got 5 stakes.

This plant’s recovered much more but still had a hard lean and buds are getting heavy so I pulled it up and tied it up and stake what I could.
This is the last season with any grow bags as I always have this situation during storm season.
Raised beds, board sides, rebar stakes and 3 layers of trellis netting keeps me from having to fuck around with wet plants, broken limbs and all the related troubles no logical person in their seventies would choose to deal with😏🤔😏

My baby autos are getting done pretty fast. About another week or 2 . I think I’m gonna stay away from the autos!
Bottom pic is a Lemon Sativa. She’s behind the others. She has 3 weeks left

Did some tying up of branches today, as well as remove any dying leaves, and look for bugs n such.

Had a little helper with me.

Watched him crawl all over the place while I was on the ladder. Neither one of us found anything.

But I figure I'd take a pic of how the top of ol' White Buffalo is doing .

Keep forgetting about this girl, she came up on her own lived through a late frost after she sprouted min the spring, she was under deep cover crop, I tossed some old bud in the planters last fall and she just came up, haven’t fed her, haven’t touched her besides puttin the wire over her to Lee her grow though,

No distinct smells yet to tell what she is, but she’s lookin nice up too small plant but lookin nice for being self sufficient lol

Those invasive Jap Lady bugs, you gotta watch out for them. They bite, get into your breaker boxes, outdoor lights or anywhere they can to overwinter. If you kill one, they release pheromones to draw in more. They caused me to replace my main 220 amp breaker because they infested it and caused it overheat continuously. https://entomology.ca.uky.edu/ef416

Looking ahead I can't ask for anything better. If it holds up and hurricanes don't mess it up.

Id love to have that. No
I'll trade ya, the WB for the weather, and I ain't talking about the old Warner Bros. Network. 😂 🤔😉
Ya had me for a moment. I hone, restore, and use straight razors. I'm also a mentor for a shaving forum, too.
So when u said WB, my first thought was, Wade & Butcher. 🤣

One I restored for a customer, a few years ago. The scales/handle is hand cut, sanded and finished by hand. Made from Nicaraguan rose wood.
