I don't know the products per se but the soil amendments I do seem to be slow uptake and need a helper like the bone meal plus mag in the water. Worm castings are slow with the microwhozits (ask mike) and the chelators assist uptake, and those two together fight off and starve out bad root fungus. And I couldn't have told you that 6 months ago so I'm going to take a minute to applaud me for only being 99% stupid, there does seem to be improvement lol.

Hey that leaves 1 percent which is a whole 100 in my book brother!

yeah the Gaia isn’t instantly available so timing (not my strong suit) is kind of key. i also use the green leaf cal-mag : )

I'm hoping this makes sense but a protective cup of soil then slow and assist amendments get it all prime for the switch from water to nutes and water. Half nutes first time. I like to say during the second node but there is eyeballing I hope I judge well. I haven't killed but one plant that got it's real leaves so there is that. Back in the day we sprout cupped and then into pots, I didn't handle anything until the pots were loaded.

All you peat based perlite medium dudes, im already started in the process haha! But how long do you all rinse for re use? I took all the 2 gal pots with the mix and put it in a 25 gallon fabric pot and started watering it in like there’s no tomorrow. i have fresh mixed peat mix to add along with im going to get some EWC. Any insight would be greatly appreciated : ) I’ve searched up the Capt’s thread on it but couldnt find it. I know he re uses : )

I never rinse it bro because when you’re doing that, you’re rinsing out the buffers too so I just take the roots out. Maybe sprinkle some perlite it if it looks low.

Could just barely load an 18g
needle.
The plate got 1 drop on 8-23

Huh I hadn't thought of that. I haven't seen effects like salty swings but maybe that's luck camouflaging a gremlin.

Ok I’ll consider it ready to be re amended…

i have more of the original batch left overs in a tote ill mix in with the stuff i rinsed along with add a little perlite. that should make up for the potential loss of buffer from rinsing?
