Pretty anti-climactic last night! Mother nature stopped by and we did a toast to the moon! Then she said she had to go fuck with people back east! When sativa’s sleep, they don’t mess around! They fold up pretty good! Played with the flashlight a little! These cameras, make it look like daytime! Dog was thrilled about being out at 1 AM!

Who wouldn't want to be out checking plants @ 1am with a good moon, an some shine!! Cheers 🍻

Yeah, that’s a big test! But not as big as it was before dispensaries!😆
Well after 10 days I came home to a bit of a disaster, although I was worried about my outdoor plants it turned out to be the indoor ones that had a serious problem.
These two were on the vivosun self-watering pots and although I had them topped off and GH Flora mix in bottles in spikes the huge OG Kush was bone dry, shriveled up and dead. The other, Northern Dawn, was not quite dried out but was suffering greatly. It was deep into flowering and it's future remains undetermined.

My outdoor Shiskaberry Kush suffered greatly during my previous brief trip when it got flooded. It had gone into flower pretty early and could have died but has bounced back slightly. So now I've experienced the extremes and what it does to these plants, I guess I should chalk it up to learning haha. They don't tolerate this being flooded our dried out bullshit very well!

My shining star and last great hope is the OG Kush outside although I had to knock a grasshopper out of it this morning, it has flourished and looks great as it begins to flower. Are grasshoppers a problem?

I've placed them both into my little utility wagon so I can easily move them around. Now that the Sun is sinking a little further south I get a bit more shade on my patio and moving them during the day helps maximize sunlight time.

This will be part of my grow strategy going forward; that utility wagon will hold two 15 gal bags nicely.

Bad luck indoors but good luck for your outdoor, looks sweet. A single hopper is no worries unless it concentrates its feast upon the juicy tips of bud sites, but where one be another and another becomes many, we have locust plagues here by the billions, so thick we have to reduce road speeds, close house windows, remove clothes from the clothesline, etc, and they leave a wake of complete destruction on entire fields of crops. And like the wagon method of squeezing every last photon drop from the sky, happy grows.

Look at the bright side, you had a nice vacation! I don’t consider grasshoppers a problem, unless there is a plague of them! I just shoo them along! Tough break on the plants! You pay your money and you take your chances!
