I've tried righting plants before and it didn't help, they slowly died anyways, so I'm leaving them.
Most have septoria and the temps. aren't supposed to get much above 70 from now on, so, oh well.
I'll let them be and see what happens.

On another note, what do I do with a broken off branch? This plant has been the farthest along flowering and some resistance to disease. Do you think I could root it and re-veg? Probably not worth all the effort, eh?
Oh, it's Girl Scout Cookies from Humboldt.

I hear you on the big girls in ground. We had a couple do that sort of flop, was able to just leave them like you said and they made it through.

I think if youre noticing its resistance to disease around your patch id put the effort into it : ) not sure the best way of going about it though! Buck of water under 24 hours? Change the water out every few days?

Are those seed pods on that broken branch cola?

Ya know, if it wasn't for bad news........................ akkkk.
Got a little windy yesterday.

Yikes. Yes it was violently windy here too. I lost a few unsecured branches. Spent some time straightening them and reinforcing the poles. I expected worse with all the blowing. Lost three more pine trees from the wind.

Has been quite windy these past few days. Sorry to see u going thru this, gives me shivers thinking about it. Specially after all the other shite you've dealt with, in your grow this year..

I know I'm gonna play hell getting my plants outta the cages I built for them, but seeing things like this happen to growers each year is why I built them. So far....nothing has broke. But buds are fattening up, quickly, and branches are starting to take on more weight everyday.

So today will be a day of tying jute from those large branches hanging outside the cage, to the cage to support the flowers as they come closer to maturity.

I'm really surprised by how fast these things are moving, now. Can see big changes every couple days, if not daily. Getting so excited, but scared at the same time, growing in this part of the country.

Ya figure....I'm only about 4-5hrs drive, east of you. 😢. Neighbor lost a BIG branch off one of his plants the other day, I could hear him reading thru the dictionary of fowl language, reciting every word in it.🤣. He came over to to see how mine were doing, and already has plans for cages, next year. His were staked like yours, and could see the trunks had been moving in the ground....but none blew over, thankfully.

I also think the fence I built for pole beans helped block a lot of that wind, too. I gotta believe that Confusious, Murphy, and Hoyle are in kahoots with mother nature.

I feel for ya brother...best of luck.

You don't even need the air stone in the jar just change the water every few days. Rain water is best because of the low pH. I keep male branches alive like that for at least 2 weeks and they still mature and open their flowers. 👍🏻
