Okay guys, I'm starting this year's adventure by experimenting again. LOL

This time I want to dry out the soil before planting to try and see if I can outsmart the Verticillium disease that ruined my crop last year.

I love repurposing, and had a roll of velum, so decided it would work great as an umbrella.
But, I had to buy fiberglass poles to support the vellum, and they came with cute little clips.

I also have an arsenle of biofungicides on the way in case my 'theory' does not pan out. LOL

Looks nice! I was going to bust out my plastic to get the planters covered! Im trying to get those puppies warmed up! Was digging in them today and and its still way cold lower underneath.

Have you added anything yet to them? Or will you do that closer to planting, if at all? (Amendments) ✌️

I haven't even started the seeds! LOL
I dug out half of the diseased dirt last year, then dumped my used potting soil into the hollow.
My plan is to start them in fabric pots, then split the bottom open and place onto the 'soil' that's there.
Since this plant prefers dry over wet, I'll try to accommodate.

Mom's gonna let me do my males and a couple autos or a small photo this year. But that's it lol.

Won't be much of anything compared to last season for me.

I will prob find a spot near some derelict railroad tracks around some wild hemp out in the boonies to throw a few land races though. They Don't spray the hemp anymore so a couple sativa land races should blend right in.

Okay, I couldn't wait, they are now ALL in the seed starter mix in six packs.
The problem.... I started WAY too many. 😁
Going to have a difficult time whittling them down.
And so many regulars. Damn. Oh, and I've also got a sh*t load of Autos to start in about a month.

Here's the list:

Lucky 13 - Angel '98, Black Rose Indica, Chocolate Girl Guide, Frostberry, Kosher King, Laughing Lion, Lebanese IBL, Purple Prozac, Showgirl

Pretty good actually! One of them! Probably a buck! Kind of fun to see how they do! They are on the other side of the dog run fence! So I fill up a bucket of water and dump it on them over the fence and slam them into the ground! But they always get back up!😁 I see you’re getting after it! Fun times!😃🐒

I'm along for the ride again this year :-).

It's still below freezing at night here and just above during the day. Still a month and a half before plants get outside.

Plans are for one or two BC Chemo/ Romulan crosses and a couple others. Nepal landrace if I can get a couple to grow or Purple Satellite crosses (which have some auto in them) if the Nepal's don't show up.

Hi cpu! Im probably here to be confusing!

The PPB x cman came from me by post, but its from captain by plants, and from trustfall/tengu by breeding. it's taken a pretty long road to get to you actually. and its a *fem not a reg seed lol.

Psychedelic banjo is Is tammy #3. So your psychedelic banjo seed are actually psychedelic banjo x haymeadow.

Good luck with the plant numbers. im doing everything i can to not have to blame you for my own lack of self control again. 🤣 💚

At least lots of males will come out relatively soon and make it feel a bit less crowded. Fwiw the banjo x haymeadow seeds have has a 1 in 7 female rate for me so far. I think capt started 3, and all 3 were males, my old roomate started 4 and got 1 female.

in total, still a 1/7 female male rate. That oughta help ya make some room 🤣

has been a 5/6 female rate on the pb2 x haymeadow so far though lmao. I think only me and putthataway have popped those so far.
