I'm sure some wonder why politics upset me so. I'm on X and you're more than welcome to go there and tell me all about your personal beliefs but you better be ready because I employ FACTS, not feelings.

Well I was on another grow site and I loved it. Several years went by and then leading up to the 24 election things started to change. Political memes would pop up here and there and no one said or did shit, all liberal leaning. Then one guy started posting conservative memes which were removed and the person threatened with banishment while the liberals memes were still all up.

During this time conservatives were being deplatformed on FB, Twitter, YouTube, etc and constantly having posts removed.

I'm an American. Grew up with FREE SPEECH and a list of 10 inalienable RIGHTS that were being erased daily.

Then some MF'ers who ran a grow site thought, like far too many that the vast majority were also brainwashed by media just like them and not only a majority of Americans but the entire world leaned liberal. Needless to say it didn't turn out well and after 6 months at looking at other sites I came back here.

And now, right after we suffer a high level political assassination someone here (a liberal, always) wants to talk about it, on a grow site, and obviously thinks a vast majority are also brainwashed and it'd be okay because those fucking conservatives.

Honestly, I'm just a member here. I should not have to say a fking thing but I've seen what happens if it's allowed to continue. I believe what should happen here and every hobby site is:
*Someone breaks the rules and posts about politics or religion
*A moderater sees it, screen shots it, removes it and dm's the person, tells them it was removed and reminds them they agreed not to post this here
*Everyone's happy except the poster

Bias in media is 101 in college, I took it. They teach you how bias is bad then the whole rest is on how to do it.

Lizard people aren't keeping sheep blind.
If you read 10 stories about he same event eventually the truth will refuse to be silent. So go read biased shit too, then read the opposite, something might still be hidden in the pile of noise.

I believe Mike it was the second....Punta Rojo is a very long Veg and a very long Flower....I let it veg for 8 weeks then flipped it....trying to keep it from getting to big. Then I had a issue with spider mites..
So experiment to shorten veg on Punta backfired....lesson learned. I will try one of the seeds from the Fem plants in the spring.....watch closely to see if they stay fem....or would the offspring be regular,

Since I had the Punta splooge...1 week. But Mike I believe they got zapped long before that.. I was scrogging the Punta...I checked daily for the sacs....I dont knowcif I missed one....but there is no way these buds are this laden with seeds in 8 days.

But again, you've got to look at the good side of this, those seeds might be really good and good seeds these days are expensive. I've just started to make a few crosses. I use to be a purist and only made S1's of strains I liked but today I've got several crosses I'm really excited about. A GDP x BBHP that's getting flipped today and should be ready to try by Thanksgiving. Can't WAIT! I havent been this excited about a strain since I bought and grew Sarsaparilla early last year, a nice very high THC strain.

I love researching the strains to see what genetics they carry and what combos I think might be good and then give them a try. It’s all a learning experience but there's no better way to learn than by doing

Personally, I wouldn't trust herm/fem seeds unless I created them purposely by using colloidal silver or stress techniques. I may use them myself (jk, I hate fem seeds; even though I do have some cali blue fem started now; go figure ), but I definitely wouldn't share them around and possibly spread the herm genes...

BUT, time won't tell you when it's best to harvest. Only the trichs can do that and your experience with an early or late harvest. Personally I like both an early (56 +/- day flower) and a late (75+ day flower) of most indica strains and the high from both early and late are a little different. I've learned that timelines are just an estimate as the environment will also play a role. Once a plant hits 6-7 weeks I start watching trichs as opposed to

Agree, except with quality fems. I've run a few, all freebies as when I purchase I want the option of making as many seeds as possible but I've never had an issue with those fems and I've been running a Blueberry Hash Plant for 3+ years clone only off a fem seed produced plant.

Through all the years I've grown I've only once had a herm, a reg x auto (accidental cross from a friend) that hermed. Produced about 30 seeds and smelled like dirty dish water. One of the BEST tasting buds ever Not kidding. Loved that smoke, what little there was, maybe a quarter to half oz as it was an auto.

I grew out 3 sets of 7 seeds and getting 3 plants each time None hermed and none had that dirty dish water flavor. I still have the few remaining seeds but I'm done playing with 'em although I did accidentally cross it with the GDP strain I have and produced a GDPish auto. There's still work to do on that new strain and I've got parent seeds and even grandparents seeds to back cross if needed. The mix is a Dragon Flames strain, not sure which as the original name given wasn't found, and a Magnum auto which gave me 90% autos. I planted 10 in my garden and one of my tomato starts had a GDP female pop up and it was beautiful so I left them together and they were surrounded by male autos in the garden. Shit happens but I got a project out of the deal and loved the time spent working on it

That's the extent of my herm experience. I have tired a few times to mix STS and make my own fem seeds to no avail. Gonna have to breakdown and purchase the stuff

Si. I accidentally took this pink flowered Gelato about a week to 10 days "early" as far as dates go but the trichs said she was ready

If I had known the actual date at the time I still would have take her either day day or at least within a week because the trichs were all opaque with many going amber. It was time even being a week early according to the timeline

I cut my last plant down a few days ago. Getting bored. I need to pop some seeds. I decided to try the ac affinity humidifier out since I don’t have anything flowering. They changed it. I have the destructions but I can’t finger out how to program it.

If it weren’t for ill timing id have no timing at all! my dumbass is like a month off from where i thought i was going to be. and like 10 year old with adhd (just a 40yer old with it) i threw a bunch more seeds into the mix!

Mine finally took a shit on me. Went out to the shed one day and it was about half full in the res and was just making noise and was HELLA HOT! i must of got lucky with a unit that wasnt as F’d as yours from the beginning!

it sucks because my climate being dialed was dependent on that unit. now its toast and i wont even try customer service given your experience. VPD? what the hell is that?

Edit: didnt catch you were referring to the ACI until! My bad! Keep us posted on it. Im keeping my eye out on something economical for the veg room! : )
