The ONLY reason I grow outdoors is I can't stand the thought of paying for something nature is giving me for free. I have solar but didn't have a battery installed but back in 2019 house batteries really weren't ready for prime time and I'm not sure they are yet. We are on a "time of use" (TOU). Since I use lights for supplemental, I have them come on after midnight when rates are the cheapest. You talk about a drastic difference, it's 52 cents a kilowatt hour during peak hours and 8 cents at super off peak.

Need to have a cry over me c99 X Juicy fruit. A bit over 7 weeks from flip and nearly 11 weeks in, moving super slow and has zero smell so far. Clone isn't even in flower and it reeks. Have any of you guys had mother's with no smell but cuts from it that reek in veg?

Such a nice structure. Shame it ain't packing on any terps or frost. Clone has a super sweet musk and pine smell which is nice though so I may keep it going considering it's already got STS on it.

I was doing the same thing until my wife started shouting e-fucking-nuff already. Once I decided I was gonna do a seed run I topped the plants that were gonna get pollinated and cloned them and simultaneously planted 6 more seeds just in case anything didn't root. And then everything did.

Half a dozen years ago I wanted to grow one in an upside down tomato pot. Someone HERE on the farm dared me to try it. Mentioned it to the boss, I mean my wife and she wasn't in the mood as I did have about 40 plants going needless to say to keep the peace I never grew anything in that upsidedown thingy. Still got it in the garage. Today I grow hemp just for her health and make her caps and sauve and she has no problems today with me growing anything. Ya think it's time I gave it a try? Last time I grew indoors was about 1979. Big hot MH 250W parking lot lights. AC running 24/7. Humidifier 24/7. 5 gal nursery pots. Bag seeds. 7 plants became 3. When all was said and done I could have bought a pound or more without all the hassle. Before that I learned how to grow from a roommate who did 2 or 3 every year in the backyard. While I do dream of being able to control everything as opposed to growing with every fking bug in the backyard you gotta understand I remember when it was illegal. You'd spend time in jail, at least county. I still can't believe how far we've come. We had all the BS media/gov warning us how horrible weed is It's an herb and like the majority of herbs it is very therapeutic

I do wonder how many kids died before someone said hey maybe we should make paste glue non toxic and even edible for the dumb shit kids who try stupid stuff either by curiosity or by dare. I suspect the slightly minty smell and taste was something added to counteract the smell of an animal byproduct.
