washing your buds of wpm and dirt

two of my outdoor plants that were kinda tucked in near a garage and large wooden fence got a wpm but i caught it early and soaked her in pure milk every other day with some rain for a week, at harvest looked good but i know it’s still probably there a bit, while i had others out in the open field that were perfect, same strains..
so i followed jorge’s method of cleaning buds.

I know this is old but do you still do this? I am not totally sure what you used to clean the buds, is it just water? Do you clean them as soon as you cut the tree down?

I know this is old but do you still do this? I am not totally sure what you used to clean the buds, is it just water? Do you clean them as soon as you cut the tree down?

All done,.. when dried enough straight into garbage can for outdoor bubble wash,..

Hey @GNick55, when washing buds, doing it at least 3 times is recommended to make sure the flower opens up enough to let the cold water knock the trics off.
Would soaking them in warm water BEFORE going into the cold water wash work? Rehydrate so they are more pliable right at the start. What'd ya think?

You don’t try or want to knock the trichs off
Opening the flowers is to make sure the inside of the buds get washed so your not just washing the outside of the buds.

You do it gently so as not to knock the heads of but to separate the contamination from the flower

Otherwise they would be useless even as bubble hash especially when bubble hash is about collecting the trichs only
That’s what bubble hash is just trichs

I don’t know about warm or cold water I’ve only used room temperature water when I have washed buds

Be interesting to see what gnick says as he’s using milk for wpm however will probably know about warm vs cold water

Water/baking soda & lemon is what I’ve used when cleaning up mite poop however that’s not for washing of mold

As said be very interesting what gnick says if he notices the @GNick55 as he does get a lot of notification pop ups or I would imagine he does
