Can you look at buds and tell if they're ready for harvest?

Im in week 10 ish of flower, and I don't have a microscope. Can you help me?

I would say they need more time, too many whiite hairs and not enough yellow leaf around the buds, how is the smell?

Pretty potent at the moment. I have good air flow my plants are upstairs and I can smell them as soon as I hit the steps.

The perfect time to harvest also depends on you taste regarding the high, earlier harvest is more mind high less body load couchlock and the opposite for delayed harvest.

10 weeks White Widow into the 12/12 flip

.10 weeks White Widow into the 12/12 flip..hardly any amber trics but damn this looks ready to harvest... Im a 1st time grower..... opinions please, thanks
