I have Skunk #1 from 1987

Perhaps looking for strains that basically started out as Skunk phenotypes, wouldn't be a bad idea. Something like Cheese for instance. Once I had a real stinker, but it smelled like old salty cheese instead of Skunk. Seemed to be super rare, I only got it once. High would make you smile and laugh like an idiot about whatever appeared funny to you. Maybe a pheno hunt of Cheese could produce also something close to the 80s Skunk.

Sensi Seeds probably once was the best source for the roadkill - when it was still named The Seedbank and ran by Neville prior to 1990. I'm not sure if it was Neville or Sam Skunkman who claimed that they got rid of the roadkill on purpose and went for the more sweet and fruity smell. I wouldn't mind trying roadkill myself, but I guess alot of people would just think that there's something wrong/rotten with the herb.

According to Shantibaba (Mr. Nice Seeds), he mostly used Skunk for his crosses while Neville (Seedbank/ later became Sensi Seeds) used alot of Northern Lights for his strains. They both worked with the original shit in the 80s, so perhaps Mr Nice Seeds could also have something similiar to roadkill.

I just started looking for a place to trade. Been collecting for 2 years till I can start growing again. I ran into a man that had it online. He told me if I was interested he would give it to me so he mailed it to me. I posted another wanted of what I am looking for if anyone is interested. Its quite a large list so if anyone has any of it we can work something out.

Hey buddy 👋🏼 hi from Colorado in the Rockies..I have what you're looking for.. good ole KGB California Skunk ( killer green bud ) I've had this strain for several years. Here's a few pictures of the plant. Im also growing Maui Waui Real Oahu strain, gorilla Kush, twisted skunk 🦨 ass, a Jamaican rainbow and another REALLY fruity skunk 🦨 🦨 🦨 🦨 🦨 I'm pretty sure this is what you want.
Do you trade ?

I have been searching for the old skunk that I smoked in the 90's that smelled like an actual skunk it was so good but I can't find it anywhere I have grown super skunk and other skunk strains but so far not even close to that old skunk strain. I just got a cut of #1 skunk and I'm hopeful this is it but I doubt it. has anybody found the real skunk strain that stinks so good?
Better yet, where is the Colombian goldbud and redbud? The smell and taste was awesome.

Also, I read where someone mentioned shoreline….. Shoreline is just foul. Its awesome, just not what people are looking for in this thread. I didnt get skunk in mine, more like rotten fruit dipped in baby shit. Definitely worth a grow.
I went looking for Shoreline online and was not able to find it. Can you toss me a link please?

I bought a breeder's pack from SkunkReallyWorks.com a few years back. From that pack I have grown Gorilla Roadkill Skunk twice now. I also grew Peach Skunk. Both strains are super tasty but not anything close to old school skunk.

I've grown Skunk #1, Early Skunk, Super Skunk, Gorilla Road Kill Skunk, Peach skunk, Lemon Skunk, Lime Skunk and a few others. Nothing has come close to the original from the 80's and 90's. Too bad you have not grown it yet because in all honesty, I'm to a point where I don't think I will find it. I don't have enough time or room to grow hundreds of plants, looking for a specific pheno. If someone actually does come across it, I can at least run some tissue cultures on it and save it so others can have it too.
