I'm curious, why don't you scrog? Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with not scrogging. There's also nothing wrong with scrogging either. It's simply a method to support your plants.Getting close. This is my 3rd harvest and each one I continue to learn, you guy's are awesome![]()
Scrogging grows pansie plants that need support lol I ain't got time for pansies lol also way better quality. I only need a few oz. a harvest and want the best I can grow.I'm curious, why don't you scrog? Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with not scrogging. Anyway, your grow looks good so far! What's the strain and how much time do you think you have left? It looks like its going to be a tasty treat.
Depends on your grow style. I use lots of rockdust in my soil and have 2 oscillating fans blowing on the branches building strength...so mine are strong enough to stand up under a lot of weight. Even the ones that get away from me and stretch 2 feet:Scrogging grows pansie plants that need support lol I ain't got time for pansies lol also way better quality. But for real I just like to grow like this it nothing but a preference for real. I enjoy training them each a little differently like little trees in their own little world.Scrogging grows pansie plants that need support lol I ain't got time for pansies lol also way better quality. It would drive me crazy I would be constantly tucking and situating the leaves just perfect I'd go frigging nuts lolDepends on your grow style. The reason I scrog is because every single bud gets the same light intensity, so even though they are a little bit smaller buds, everyone is a top tier bud. No smalls and no larf.
I will admit though, having a plant that is 14" tall and 3 foot wide looks kind of weird.

Yeah, it's not for everyone. But I am old and disabled so this is the one thing I have a lot of time to do. My first attempt at a scrog 2-3 years ago was all crazy: This was Durban Poison on the left and Bruce Banner 2.0 on the right. It would drive me crazy I would be constantly tucking and situating the leaves just perfect I'd go frigging nuts lol
Sweet ! I need to learn the scrog method !Depends on your grow style. I use lots of rockdust in my soil and have 2 oscillating fans blowing on the branches building strength...so mine are strong enough to stand up under a lot of weight. Even the ones that get away from me and stretch 2 feet:

I know what you mean , i lose my shit when my ear buds get tangled so i couldnt handle un ravelling all that.It would drive me crazy I would be constantly tucking and situating the leaves just perfect I'd go frigging nuts lol
The stretchy ones are easier to trim IMO.I know what you mean , i lose my shit when my ear buds get tangled so i couldnt handle un ravelling all that.
i dont use a net or a fan , ive only had one plant which started falling but thats because i didnt have the light close enough so it stretched up about 3 ft.

You didn't need to scrog that lol not to mention it isn't even scrogged. You will get a more potent but from high stress.
Potency isn't related to scrogging at all. Potency is mostly genetic + how well you took care of your plants. I have scrogged. I don't always, but sometimes I do. My plants are never pansies. You didn't need to scrog that lol not to mention it isn't even scrogged. You will get a more potent but from high stress.
It's personel style you do you and have it your way. It's all about the genetics and how well you care for them. Light them up!!You didn't need to scrog that lol not to mention it isn't even scrogged. You will get a more potent but from high stress.
That's why I said you didn't need to scrog it because it didn't need the support. Yes it is a nice plant. I bet I can grow a clone off of any strain you grew and make it 2× stronger.Potency isn't related to scrogging at all. Potency is mostly genetic + how well you took care of your plants. Like this one here ... nothing "pansy" about it whatsoever .... @Grownsince95 nice looking plant!
Not likely. I'm not a beginning grower, and neither are the other growers who took offense to your statement. That's not saying you're a poor grower at all! It's you're competing here with many many years of combined experience and assuming you're better just because you're you.You will get way more frost from high stress.

I have ADHD. I got more frost in between my fan leaf fingers than your buds. I am not competing. My original post even said no offense in parenthesis, and I meant it. I am sorry you felt like you needed to prove yourself by trying to impress me with that picture of a sorry mainline attempt. It is a very nice looking plant though but those nets make the look pansy to me personally. Sorry. Not likely. Your post underscores how a well done scrog produces more flowers. I'd say job well done! Not gonna get into some of this but I am smiling…
I grow outdoors and had one just take off on me, I had them growing up through trellis nets so as that plant hit each layer it got some tying or clips.
She has lots of tops and is only 6 or 7 feet vs the 12’ she wanted to be.
I’d not done it before and it was actually pretty darn easy to do, thinking it may be part of my
“ No ladders” future because I seem to be unable to grow small plants or maybe I’m just too greedy![]()
