I promise you I am not here to throw shade, not to make fun or belittle.I am looking at.your girl.you harvested here and to be honest it looks to me like you had a light leak in your tent and the girl maybe started to try and revert back into veg while halfway into flower, the bud formation is looking that way to me, I have seen this happen before to a grow ,a couple of times.I want you to understand that learning to grow and perfecting it is a process, a long process.So the things we take and learn from in a grow in which we weren't particularly happy with is all of it, everybit of it, because if we hang on to all the ways in which we done something wrong we can atleast move forward with valuable knowledge of what not to do again.I would make sure to check for light leaks before growing anything else.
Honestly I use to go into my tents or built out grow rooms and sit in them with all the lights off inside while having lights on outside of tent,room so that I could be sure to have no leaks.believe it or not it only takes a pinpoint to screw up a grow in a couple weeks time.most of the time the bud will come out looking like that, stringy, no true solid form.

Sry ky, I have to respectfully disagree; a lot of people on this site have cats that live on and around their tents and put tons claw holes in them, to no ill effect. No different than stars in the night sky.
They can handle more light during "dark" period, with no ill effects, than most people realize. General rule of thumb is nothing brighter than a full moon.

If you have seen plants that look like test's, there was something way worse than pinholes going on... Just my .02.

Some pics for slingshot. Hey remember I used to build mushroom spaces. Like I said in my bragging, the DEA thought they were kind of good.

So anyway I did that for my nursery environment.

I like control. I have lots of them in here. I just kicked back and gaze at it. And then my wife walks in and says you're building a kitchen. She didn't really say it that way. But then I started building a kitchen. But back to the plants of the moment:

Seed to Auto harvest. Lots lots more when the photo periods finish since I gave them 3 months of veg.

And I still have half those seeds left. Those autos are incredibly fast. And large. In about 3 months. Slightly longer. It was amazing. I absolutely suggest that anyone wants a quick and easy grow who's used to photo periods who doesn't want to play, go get some autos.

You noticed the temperature measuring gear? You think I don't put things at the exact temperature I want them? Within a inch or so.

See the various labels on the seedlings? I track the specific conditions and exposures such as certain plants got UV very early and they got it in different cycles. I wanted to see what level of results early UV inoculation would have on later tricone density generation etc.

There is definitely a difference. If you hit early seedlings with UVB, you will get greater trichome production later on when you hit them with the UVB during flowering.

At least that's my imaginary result based on a tiny tiny sample. Bottom line is I'm happy to just hit them with UVB all the time now.

You are correct. I was playing with a variety of welder's cloth to be used as wicking material and a variety of sizes of wick thicknesses to be able to then put it into something that would convert to radiant heat.

I had a variety of fuel sources. I was testing for viscosity versus heat generating. I was also determining smell and smoke on the burn. The goal was to come up with something to heat the wood working shed that does not have electricity unless I throw an extension cord to it, which I can. But I want something that just heats the corner of it. I've got a heat buddy and I've got three face propane heater and they both work but I wanted to try alternative fuels and methods.

I'm like that.

I would use the heat camera to determine the best mixture and measurement as I adjusted the various pieces of it.

I had just put it together and was testing. Then I took it to the fire brick enclosure to work on it further.

Oh, actually that one was just the first cut. I didn't play with anything with fire close to fuel without a buffer.

Here's the next one, and it wasn't the last.

You'll note I added fire blankets there and I have another one at the ready with a fire extinguisher and I did practiced movements.

That was still all when I'm working inside for a couple minutes for the first light. Then it goes outside in the firebox environment

The screen is 304 stainless steel as thin as I could get it. But I think I should have made it a bit larger. I wanted to test mesh level and then work my way out from there.

There's all kinds of experiments going on here. I'm interested in all kinds of stuff. The limitation is time.

Once the internal flowers are trimmed, it gives an opening for air flow and light. And once they're trimmed everything else can grow explosively cuz you can fold everything back which then gives opening points everywhere else.

So no light pipes required or anything else. You can get the light in there once it's a poodle. And then just keep harvesting the edges to keep the poodle trim and keep the light and air flow going. Eternal harvest while keeping a close eye on any possibility of mold.

And our interaction allowed me to push forward my already prepped plan of dealing with the psychedelic society. I had stopped by their booth at the county fair a couple months ago and shown them pictures and they fucking wanted in on this. I told them I'd get back to them when I thought I was ready.

Here's what fell off in the last week. This is couch lock style hashish. I'm sure I burnt the shit out of it. I like it. What falls off then generates fresh green growth which in turn gives me whatever level of burn I want and it's five times as much every week.

It's okay. I need to prove. Here's a bit more because this is what I'm discovering as I go.

Okay, I set a timer. Two hits in 10 minutes and the timer just went off and I'll fucking falling over. So I'm lying or not. I apologize for the ramble but yeah this is my subjective impact.

When I was 54. I took my first two hits from a bong after I graduated. Drug court. Hadn't touched it in 3 and 1/2 years. Zero tolerance. I foolishly took two full bongits as deep and as big as I could because that's how I used to do it. 30 seconds later. I ran across the room to the bathroom and puked. My guts up for about 2 minutes. And then I basically did THC overdose. Hallucinations lost vision, everything split apart and nausea. Wow. My wife drove me home for the next 2 hours. It was a bad car ride.

So anyway, I am always trying to make sure I don't hit that. This feels like this could get there in about five hits. I'm sticking with the two hit 10 minute rule. Never take more than two hits and then wait 10 minutes to judge.

Please let me describe the situation and legal parameters that are the absolute requirements for this grow.

Medical license allows me to grow 15 plants.

I've already grown and harvested 13 plants over 6 months. This is the plant that is left.

I have no need for anything more, but I can legally keep this plant alive and harvest it on an ongoing basis to keep my weight to a certain limit.

I'm a felon. It would take the slightest hint of illegality to put me away in jail for a very long time. I won't do it. There are many other people who are in my situation. Who are not necessarily felons but won't take the chance but are allowed to grow indoors. This is strictly an indoor grow for anybody and if anyone wants to do anything like what I'm doing, the only way it can be done is indoors.

I'm not telling anyone to do this. I'm just describing the situation.

I could grow other plants but there is no point. I want no more responsibility and I have no more need for any more weed.

I cannot grow outdoors. Ever. Medical license says plants indoors. And not on your street facing window.

Okay. Indoor only. Limited plants. Tight space if possible. Smallest space for the plant itself and happy to build enclosure because everything is free and fun.

I hate the flexibility of tents. I hate the structure. This is my personal preference for my environment. I want to reach up and grab something and yank and lift my body. I have very specific angles that I can pull myself around and that means reaching up and grabbing and pulling my body hard. I need to be a fucking monkey to move around the lights and the air flow and the plant. I hate tents. I got really heavy lights. I got a lot of them. I'm only running them half strength right now. But I want them all at all angles. And I want them adjustable and swingable quickly. And I'm going to grab them with both arms and yank those ratchets up and not think about which piece of the metal thin bars on the tent are bending at that moment because that's how much I'd overweigh the tent.

Sorry about the ramble. This is my personal preference and those are the reasons. I cannot stand up without lifting my body on the structure and the lights are heavy. It's nice to see the cats fly around it as well.

I have all the old tents and lights. Everything is paid for. I just added a hundred bucks of air flow.

The electricity is a hundred bucks a month. This plant has paid for itself 10 times over.

I am not suggesting anybody else ever grows like me. Ever. I introduce way too much random chaos. But I only do it on the one plant that I do not care about. Every other plant in that room went through what you would consider a standard growth process other than the fact that they were overly bright on half of them. And you now know I did it on purpose because my total allowable quantity was a certain limit and those plants would hit it no matter what. I could screw around with them all but I didn't with some because I wanted to be sure.

People who want to be sure should always follow the cookie cutter path. People such as myself who don't care about being sure can occasionally screw around with a specific plant.

Okay. I am not recommending anything that happened during this grow be done by anybody else. This is for educational purposes. Discard 90% of it. And you're being educated by a random asshole who doesn't know 90% of what he's doing. Lots of chaos. It just seems to have produced something worth showing. Can you accept that?

Every time I describe a random asshole out there, I'm also just describing myself. I'm the random asshole to other people. I know this. I want to see from your point of view as well.

Plant goal is pain oil. Other things are nice. But the one and only goal is to dissolve whatever grows in that plant into MCT oil and then rub it on my body and anybody else who wants it.

That's it. Don't care about terpenes. Don't care about the percentage of THC to CBD conversion during burn. I'd love to have extra CBD in there as well. I'm okay with that. Give me all the discarded byproducts. They're great when I rub them on my body.

It's been an awesome education here. You guys know what the fuck you're talking about. I don't. I have random trivial facts that I throw together and occasionally shit happens. That's amazing. At least I think it's amazing.

It is my responsibility to show it off and let other people harass me. Make it better. Tell me I'm wrong and refocus me. If I was going for some type of commercial crap, which I'm not. But I'll be happy to throw this at anybody who approaches me come. I tell them not to do 90% of what I'm doing. That's why you need a year of r&d.

Instead of me talking about my plant, I throw up a few shots of the disaster of the kitchen rebuild. You guys get to laugh at me over that. You get to watch me stumble through my educational experience and throw crap together.

Hopefully. Which is not a strategy. Hopefully it will resolve into something structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and satisfying our various requirements.

Feel free to throw ideas out there as you watch the chaotic process which may resolve into happiness or extended play.

Because my wife and I are at the point of play. I do structure. I do wood. My responsibility to make things smooth and shiny. I do metal. Same responsibilities.

My wife does the epoxy pours. She does the artistic inlays. I'm going to get her hooked on using a router for that pretty soon. Then I'll move her to a Dremel. My wife does fine detail would refinishing that I'm not going to pay attention to. My wife is just starting to play with stuff that she never played with and she's having a blast.

This is her first experiment. She's amazing. She's the best goddamn wife in the world. And this kitchen rebuild will allow her to cook infinite assortment of stuff for me. Win win.

She picked up a whole bunch of cabinets off Facebook or next door or whatever and went out and got them and brought them back and took them apart and refinished the pieces she wanted. She's never done that before. She's been watching me play with this stuff and thought she might have a try.

She's better at it than me and that's good.

I have to refinish a cast iron sink. All new experience and education. I might fuck this sink up. I might I crack it in the process. I cannot lift the sink without mechanical assistance. It's a big fucking heavy sink. You want to watch me play with this sink?

I have to bring it up to 500°. Slowly. Then I have to work on it at 500°. I'm not sure how quickly or slowly because I've never done that before. Then I have to let it cool over the course of 3 days in a box of sand.

This will be an adventure.

I have to learn enough plumbing to replace the sink into the current sink structure and hook up a dishwasher and correct drainage.

Plumbing terrifies me. You want to see me screw this one up?

I have to run water lines to the coffee station. We've turned 3/4 of the available space upstairs to kitchen and walkable pantry space. Totally open. Big fucking kitchen.

Okay, that's the project. It's 11:10 here and I need to put up a shelf. Maybe I'll catch something else done. Under the influence of a decent hit of hashish.
