To flush or not to flush?

So i already had problems with stem rot on one of the plants, possibly becaused i iused more vermiculite than i should in the soil, i now face a dilema of flushing before harvesting a neighbour plant, i have been very careful to not water much in case i run into the same problem, and now i am thinking that overwatering to flush i might invite mold, one thought i had is to flush and then take the whole plant out ot its pot in order to help it dry out faster... any thoughts?

We have a very high gypsum ratio in our water, does that mean i might have a "high salt buildup" in my soil?

I don’t think I would worry about flushing but definitely get those brown dead leaves off there they are inviting mold and pests. How long has the plant been flowering ?? Looks very sativa dominant so could have a ways to go but hard to say for sure without closeup trich pics. What nutes have you been feeding ?

worm castings organic liquid tomato fertilizer, i see 5% brownish trichs. It's landrace Sativa "Kalamata Red"

If all organic absolutely no need to flush but like I said get that dead stuff off of her. How long she been flowering ? What kind of environment you in ? I’ve never grown any pure sativas but I know they can go a looong time on some of them.

Indeed! Been flowering since mid August in a subtropiical mediteranean forest, i removed the dead leaf, thanks for your help! 👽

I agree, no need to flush in organic grows. Will do more harm than good.

Looks similar to Dr grinspoon just from photos I have seen . I have been thinking it would be fun to try and vine one around the inside of my flower tent . Cool looking plant

Are you able to post those trichome pictures? It would be the best indicator of maturity. From the understanding I have of your climate, you have plenty of time to get yours finished. You don't need to rush.

Im not sure which strain it is but most hybrids around here dont finish until until mid october (if we’re lucky)

Most sativas im aware of flower 12+weeks easy. Some go 20+

The Breakin haze im doing is a 12 weeker, thats crossed with dogshit, and this has 5 weeks left easy

The photos you've seen of grinspoon were foxtailed and stressed it actually grows normal buds like other strains.

Myths formed because of unsuspecting new growers and stressed plants.

All the info I have read about it says it takes off and vines doing weird stuff . I just assumed maybe it looked like the photos . Doesn't matter though I still want to try and flower one out. I have some space and don't mind if one is in there.

It's not an interesting strain and that vine is from stress and foxtailing.

The industry is full of click bait stuff like grinspoon or some blurple promising it's the equivalent to ten 1000 HPS de's.

Google it again and look for those who grew normal buds for the full story on the bullshit that got spread on grinspoon.

Grown the stretchiest vining sativas and still just got normal buds. People made them run and foxtailed then try convincing you sativas vine lolol.

Beware the bs that this industry has humped and then dumped new growers with.

I am glad I brought it up thanks . I bet quality seeds are hard to find . You know where I can find some no b.s. seeds ?

Grinspoon is still a good strain it's just not going to grow like those old pictures and it never had much appeal despite the cult following of olden days.

Im European so Sensi Seeds and Dutch Passion are the main two for seeds.

No idea what America is doing or what banks are best let alone strains but others can point you in the right direction there 👍
