My plants drink a gallon a day easy. So once a week I fill with just pH water to let them use up excess nutrients stored in the root zone. I guess I'm the only one who does that. Something my Pops taught me.

Ah, I understand. I do similar, but it is all based on which way the EC swings. If going up slowly, I will use less nutrients when adding water to drop it back down. If it is going up faster, I will add just RO water to drop it even more. Going up too fast, I flush and make a new solution.

The little one is still going. Looks like the newest tiny leaves are finally going to be normal looking. 🤞

Same concept. Different method. I dig it though.

After removing the water pump and misters the reservoir temp has stabilized around 71f, even nearing the end of the light cycle. Cooler weather and no heat from water pump, I think this will do well even without frozen water bottles. The night cycle will most likely have a higher average temp since lights are off during the day.

I've been adding 0.2ml of Root Guard every 12 hours. Wanted to slowly get up to the 0.8ml recommendation for 4 gallons because there could have been H2O2 in the system. All H2O2 should be broken down by now though. One more dose of Root Guard will get me to the recommended amount.

Edit: Last frozen water bottle was put in at about 10pm on 9/20. You can then see it stabilize after that. I love using these Govee sensors! These charts are a game changer.

If only I could get my closet water temp to stabilize at 71f. 😢

Well obviously yer a tradesman. So many have to learn the hard way lights off in the day. If you elevate your buckets, even 2" on some plastic mesh. Like they use fer soda bottles, drop a fan low. Should drop it considerably.. If I had water temp issues I would elevate, and circulate. Hope it helps, spark ideas.

I always keep my fans low, I want the cooler air kissing very bit of my ladies.
;)
Juss a lil tip I have found with hydro. Tent or table. Hope it helps as well. Good arms to all of us indoor phreaks.
12/12 man I love this thread.

We have snow @ 10k today. All you outdoor growers take steps, could be an early winter. Just a friendly reminder from MHG. Good grow to us all!

The elevated bucket is probably why the cloner in the tent stays much cooler than my closet reservoir. That and the tent is right next to the cold air intake from my window.

My next closet grow should be better after gutting the closet and putting my reservoirs on wheels. For now, I use about 12-18 frozen water bottles a day. Throwing 6 in at a time so swapping them out 2 to 3 times daily now.

Tent maxed out at 73f last night. If I could get the closet to top out at 75f I would be happy.

Seedling update:

Newest growth looks normal. 😁 Space between nodes increased a bit, so put the lights a few inches closer. Will find that perfect height soon.

Nice!
I think I let one of my bucket's get too low while I was just letting the roots get a lil air. I am afraid to look. Fingers 🤞

Damn, the Pound Cake took out the Blood Orange when the water got low. Total bummer 😔

Total my fault. It was the last fishing trip up the mountain, I was too damn tired to mix nutrients when I got home. Figured what's on more day. Total bonehead maneuver. Oh well

There is 1/4 of my tent gone. 3oz easy like a Sunday morning.
Cheese and rice.
Worst thing is I didn't catch one trout big enough to drop on my fire. Muther trucker!!! I'm hurtin
Definitely a kick in the sack.
😔

Well fire up a few more seeds, then down to the Sea Food joint fpr some fresh fish!!! 👍🏼

Ohhh! Look what I just got. Thanks this little gadget, my Grandchildren will be popping Original genetics long after I am dust in the wind!! 👍

Ive been thinking about this water bottle method. My dwc temps can get 1-2°high.
I started in fall hoping the cooler weather would help (its starting to at night).

I have a few F & R seeds in solos for my next 12/12's
