Removing my dead lemon tree today. Thing got sick in 2019 after the California fires that blanketed the globe. All the leaves died days after. They grew back the next year but what used to be grapefruit size lemons were normal sized lemons. The next year lime sized lemons , diminished harvests, year after died. Now this thing has been dead for two years and it’s been 100 million degrees but any way I thought I would ask my esteemed colleagues on the farm about this that I found. There’s two branches I found like this. One is cut and the other was never cut. I didn’t grab a picture of the uncut one but it looks the same like the wood is burnt. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Something in the ash deposited in soil then probably slow lockout? Grow a quick plant in a bucket and one in plain store soil and see if it slowly chokes over it's lifetime? Nute test? Localized pH issues?

Happy 7:24, child tablet time until 8, then bed. Some relative peace lol, except there isn't much to do. Carly doesn't need me bothering her, seedling is worrying... I see stem, minor leaf. I do not see standing up and saying hello yet. Perhaps the taproot needs to feel more secure but that's her business. Nothing from #2 but I won't worry for another 3-4 days anyhow. If this sprout doesn't stand up and live I might go back to plantable sprout cups and call myself an idiot for abandoning them.

It gets better... Cocaine Lion franchise starts off all in africa like you'd expect. Gradually marvel shit, anthropomorphism, the boxer thing, then NylonWings gets all mad in the press and blames it on my influence and reboots with a more pure back to basics cocaine lion film...
