Hubby and I went to Walgreens and got our Flu and 'other Flu' shots today, then I went out back to check on the plants. Not as bad as I thought they'd be so I started pulling fan leaves. Left the good looking ones, but most had issues, yellow, spotted, curling, those got cut. Then came in the house and had a cookie. (g) (oh, and a beer) LOL
Hoping this week of sunny days will get them finished. Well, most of them.

Update.
So, it's been 10 days and I'm not posting any more pics. For now.
Chopped a plant from Capt. Spaulding and, sorry Gray, Showgirl and put them on the burn pile. Too diseased.
Laughing Lion is getting some Septoria in it's lower buds, damn it. We just had 5 days of rainy, cloudy, cool weather and now it's clearing up and gonna be sunny for the next week. Still cool, and fog in the morning, but no rain.
We'll see how they do.
Chocolate Girl Guide was resistant to Septoria, and has large fluffy gorgous buds, but racked with Botrytis. I started cutting out the rot, but it was all in the upper 1/3 of the stems. Very little resistance there.

I've checked most of the flowers and they all have half and half clear, cloudy trics. Too soon for me to harvest. Beginning to hate this time of year.

They sure do get uglier towards the end. Hard to watch that once majestic beauty, wither down and die.

Looking at my tomato plants, good stuff is gone, except a few green tomatoes. Keeping them.
I so want to clean them out but it's our hedge between us and the neighbor. And the weather's suppose to be good enough to go out and sit on the patio, so they stay, for now. LOL

Ours petered out fast. We didn't even get to put up any green tomato relish this year. Got some nice cucs still going though.

Double Damn

I would too. Triple Damn.

Was not hard. Love growing things. Unfortunately I have a problem cutting them back which is why I have a horde of cherry tomato plants trying to come inside for the winter. LOL

My wife is the same. She's rooted a bunch. She want's more green ones to make relish so if they don't ripen she won't be upset.

My one tomato plant has been awesome. It’s a “Roma” I believe. It’s not beefsteak, as was labeled. I’m glad it produced well and delicious. Still making tomato’s…
